“Planning for the future: CMS, New Model Launches, and Buildout”Through a joint collaboration between American Honda and North American Purchasing, this seminar will provide an overview of the Capacity Management System (CMS), as well as discuss the importance of this system and supplier planning activities as they relate to new model and buildout. As a supplier and business partner it is also important to understand that we are heading into a very aggressive new model and buildout period. To ensure we are aligned in our expectations, the seminar will outline the importance of ensuring CMS is accurate for these launches, service data is included, and how to plan for buildouts to ensure service parts availability for the life of the part. The future of Honda relies heavily on the relationships and foundations we build to ensure supply chain stability, and this seminar will highlight topics that are imperative to our success.
