The Career Services Office provides a range of
services and activities to help our students make
the most of their degree. Services include job
search assistance, resume and cover letter reviews,
interview preparation, and salary negotiations
discussions. The Career Services Office organizes
workshops on interview techniques, business
etiquette and networking skills, and works closely
with employers to promote graduate employment
opportunities.
Student Representative Committee
The Student Representative Committee plays an
important role in the effective communication
between the student body and university
administration. It is also responsible for the
organisation and management of student social
activities. Each year, the committee organises
several on-campus and off-campus events aimed at
bringing the student community closer together.
Student Ambassador Program
The Student Ambassador Program is a voluntary
extra-curricular program open to all CMU-A
students. The program is aimed at students who
would like to share their knowledge and experiences
at CMU-A with prospective students. They serve
as the university’s brand ambassadors and assist in
the marketing and outreach of the university to the
community.

The Global Track within the MSPPM program
is a unique dual continent experience in which
students complete a world-class public policy
and management curriculum at both CMU’s home
campus in Pittsburgh and its Australian campus.
The program is designed to produce global
leaders skilled in policymaking, management and

by faculty across the two campuses, providing them

Careers
Our MSPPM graduates are employed in every sector of the global market and in virtually every industry. They
work for large, established organizations and for emerging companies. They are employed in positions such
as Policy Advisers, Chief Strategy Officer, Budget Analyst, managers and consultants. Their work covers every
functional area found in national and local governments, non-profit organizations and private firms. Senior roles
of graduates include Ambassador to World Trade Organisation.
Tracks
The PPP unit will require most of what I learnt during the experience at Carnegie Mellon,
as I build a team from scratch, hire professionals, identify potential projects, develop
them jointly with all other Ministries, conduct the tenders, negotiate the contracts, and
understanding of finance and present the results yearly to Congress.

This specialisation trains students to use data to

This specialisation examines the management issues
of public-private partnerships and draws heavily

governments and relevant private sector firms.
The MSPPM degree is a master’s degree program that instructs students on leveraging data and technology
in order to analyze, affect, and implement policy solutions to societal problems and opportunities for postive

Information Security Specialisation
The specialisation equips students with a deep understanding of risk management, information security, and
data privacy. This program draws upon the expertise in security research, operations, and analysis from the
world-famous CERT Division of Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute. CERT is a leader
in cybersecurity and has partnered with government, industry, law enforcement, and academia to improve the
security and resilience of computer systems and networks for over 30 years.

As a graduate of our Information Technology Management program, students will have the required skills for
positions such as Corporate Operations Engineer, Business Intelligence Analyst, IT consultant, or Software

The MSIT – Business Intelligence and Data Analytics program meets the growing needs of organizations to
aggregate, analyze, and monetize Big Data. Our programs are aimed at developing an elite set of graduates
