2019 Annual Report 2019 EXPENSES financials by the numbers 2019 REVENUE 1,352 sweat equity hours were completed by future Habitat homeowners building their homes & their neighbors’ homes. $311,400 in labor costs were saved thanks to Habitat volunteers. 1,733 donations of furniture, building materials & household items were received by the Habitat ReStore. 15,570 hours of time were contributed by volunteers. That’s the equivalent of 7.5 full-time employees. $578,208 gross annual sales at the Habitat ReStore. 4 families, including 8 children, moved into safe & affordable Habitat homes. BREAKING NEW GROUND WITH EAGLE COUNTY SCHOOLS On May 30, 2019, Habitat Vail Valley broke ground on a new neighborhood at Grace Avenue in Gypsum. The 2.3-acre parcel of land was donated by Eagle County Schools and will be home to 12 new Habitat families. Through the workforce housing partnership, Habitat will give preference in its family selection process to Eagle County Schools applicants. “The partnership between Eagle County Schools and Habitat is allowing me to become a homeowner in such a wonderful community. It truly makes me feel like I’m valued and supported by the staff. BREAKING NEW GROUND WITH EAGLE COUNTY SCHOOLS
