FORMS ONE AND THREE CONSULTATION DAY
Thursday, 20 June 2019 will be Forms One and Three Consultation Day. All respective parents are expected to attend in order for them to discuss their child’s performance with the subject teachers. The consultation with the subject teacher is expected to last about five minutes. Please note that, unlike primary school where your child was taught by one teacher and you were allocated a specific time to meet the teacher, at high school it is impossible to do so. You will be expected to join the queue every time that you need to consult a subject teacher. You will, therefore, need to be prepared to spend at least two to three hours at the college. There is need to respect the queues as you wait to consult the teacher.
On the day, the SDC will be fundraising by selling some food items.
CAMBRIDGE ASSESSMENT INTERNATIONAL EXAMINATIONS OUTSTANDING LEARNER AWARDS FOR 2018 EXAMINATIONS
Every year Cambridge Assessment International Examinations holds a prize giving ceremony to honour the best students in Zimbabwe in various categories. We are proud yet again to be part of the big day as three students did us proud by becoming the best learners in their respective subjects as follows:
Terrell Demorgan – Best AS Accounting student in Zimbabwe in May June 2018 examinations.
Vimbainashe Chimhande – Best IGCSE Business Studies student in Zimbabwe in October/November 2018 examinations.
Kimisha Mtage – Best ‘O’ level Commerce student in Zimbabwe in October/November 2018 examinations.
Congratulations, amhlope, makorokoto for the brilliant performance by each of the above students and their teachers. Surely, “like armoured knights we shine for Goldridge our school,” just to quote from our school song.
DUTY OF CARE
We are living in a difficult world where our children are under influence from some unwholesome content from internet and other sources. I urge you all to monitor and guide your children to enable them to develop good values and morals. At school we continue trying our level best and if we work together our children will grow up to become responsible citizens.

Sports wise, we have had a very hectic time.
