Quantitative Reasoning Assessment Exam for Distance Learning Students

Students who entered JSC Online or EDP from Spring 2010 onward need to take and pass the Quantitative

Reasoning (QR) Assessment Exam or take MAT 1080 Intro to Quantitative Reasoning to meet Part I of the QR

Graduation Standard. Exception: Students who have an associate degree do not need to take this exam or MAT

1080. (However, all students must take and pass a quantitatively enriched (QE) course to meet part II of the

standard.) If you need to take the exam, please contact your advisor and ask to be registered to take GRS-2000 on one of the following testing dates/times.The exam will appear on your portal page looking like an online course. You can take the exam wherever you have access to the Internet. There is no cost to take this assessment, and it can be done only twice.
