2018 Pathways Internship Application
The mission of Three Rivers
Park District is to promote
environmental stewardship
through recreation and
education in a natural
resources-based park system.
Who Are We? Three Rivers Park District is a park system in
the western suburban Minneapolis/St. Paul
metro area. We manage almost 27,000 acres
of park reserves, regional parks, regional trails,
and special-use facilities, serving over 11
million visitors every year.
What do we do? We offer recreation and relaxation activities for
every season, including picnicking, swimming,
play areas, boating, fishing, downhill skiing,
snowboarding, golfing, camping, and sledding.
We also have developed an extensive trail
system for hiking, biking, in-line skating,
horseback riding, cross-country skiing, and
snowshoeing. In addition, the Park District
offers program sites for nature, recreation,
historic and farm education.
Where Are We? Three Rivers Park District provides outdoor
education, recreational facilities, services and
programs across the seven-county metro.
Although the majority of our facilities and park
locations are found in suburban Hennepin
County, you can find us all over the metro area!

hands on opportunities for students and youth,
