The JCC Early Childhood program provides a comprehensive education for young children in a warm Jewish setting, with three convenient sites available to families . Jewish traditions, prayers and values are integrated into classroom learning, allowing children to experience Judaism while learning universal values .

Another unique feature of the JCC program is the incorporation of specialized instruction in swimming, music, physical education, Hebrew enrichment, and weekly Shabbat programs . Your support ensures financial help for children to attend the best preschool in Columbus .

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

This year, funds raised from the JCC Gala will ensure that the more than 250 families with financial hardship will have access to Center programs and activities . Scholarships send children to our award-winning Early Childhood program, summer camps, and after school care .

Working families need a safe place for their children after school and during school’s out days .

Kaleidoscope, afterschool care for children in kindergarten through sixth grade, combines the best of all worlds for children – flexible and exciting activities, quality supervision, nutritious kosher snacks, and an opportunity to take advantage of JCC classes and facilities .

KALEIDOSCOPE

Each summer the JCC provides the quintessential day camp experience for kids from preschool to eighth grade . With state-of-the-art facilities at the College Avenue JCC and Camp Hoover, JCC Summer Camps help children make lifelong memories .

Camp is exciting and life-changing for every child, but it is particularly special for Camp Arye kids . This camp serves children with a broad range of physical, mental, and behavioral disabilities . Thanks to the JCC’s expert staff and programs designed to make traditional camp activities accessible to all kids, at Camp Arye children can rise above their disability and just be another kid at camp for the summer .

HISTORYThe JCC has served Columbus since 1913, when a meeting place for new immigrants and members of the Jewish community opened on South Washington Avenue . As the needs of the community have grown, so have the facilities and services offered at the JCC . This thriving community organization currently serves more than 200,000 members and guests from 74 Central Ohio ZIP codes, and continues to play a significant role in the Central Ohio community .
