2019 NBPC Deadlines
Date FOR TEACHERS AND TEAM MEMBERS Fri, March 1, 2019 Final date to send business plan and all relevant materials to your regional director for final
review. These materials include:
• Firm Logo (high resolution JPEG or PNG file)
• Agreements/contracts with non-virtual entities showing evidence of negotiation in a single PDF file.
• A signed Photo Release Form for each team member in a single PDF file.
• A signed Ethics Agreement in a PDF file.
• One digital team photo (1,200 DPI or higher resolution JPEG)
• A digital copy of the business plan in a single PDF file.
• The PDF business plan file can be no larger than 10MB. After the submissions have been reviewed, the regional director will give the team permission to register for the national competition, which should take place no later than Wednesday, March 13, 2019.

Final date to register your team online at www.veinternational.org – Registration links will be sent to qualifying teams by their regional directors.

Final date to upload all materials noted above to the online VE Competitions Manager. Teachers should use the same login from the local rounds. The registration link will be sent to all teams that qualify for the competition.

• One (1) REFERENCE copy of your presentation (slides/video) as a PDF file.
Mon, April 15, 2019 On the day of the event, bring the following:
• One hard copy of the written business plan should be kept on hand for reference.
• 15 copies of a “supporting materials packet” to provide judges. The packet may include slide handouts (3 or 6 slides per page), or supporting materials for the judges' reference. Packets should be limited to 4 double-sided pages (4 pages, 8 printed sides.)

Preliminary Rounds Location: Microsoft Technology Center 11 Times Square, New York, NY 10036
The top 16 teams will be recognized at the conclusion of the preliminary rounds and the top 6 teams moving on to the championship round will be announced.

Championship Round Announcement of 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place & Trophy Distribution Location: Microsoft Technology Center 11 Times Square, New York, NY 10036
The top 6 teams will present in the championship round.
First, second, and third-place will be announced and trophies will be awarded at the conclusion of the championship round.
The championship round will be open for anyone to attend. Note: Fourth, fifth, and sixth place teams will be informed of their placement.
