Class Description

Art Safari

We are going to take a safari around the world! Visit a new country each week and learn about animals native to that

location with a sprinkle of literature, dabble of games, and a whole lot of art. Grab your passport and discover the thrill

of the hunt without leaving school!

Creative Builders

Calling all inventors, builders, and designers; come and build some awesome creations with us! We will create our

own designs and make structures using building blocks, recyclable materials, and many other interesting items. Skills necessary: none! Skills gained: communication,

problem solving, reasoning, developing creativity, and team work.

Dino Discovery

Do you know which dinosaur was nicknamed “long neck?” Do you know which dinosaur had the biggest head? Join us for a colossal journey into the world of dinosaurs. Build a dinosaur replica and have an archaeological dig just like a

real paleontologist. In Dino Discovery, you will have a swamp stomping good time.

Enchanted Adventures

Sprinkle some pixie dust and jump on your unicorn, we are heading into the Enchanted Forest! This class is filled with

imagination building experiences and fun! Adventure seekers will spark their creativity as they learn about the

secret world of fairies, gnomes, elves, unicorns and all things imaginary.

Jumping Beans

Hop, Run, and Skip to Jumping Beans! S-T-R-E-T-C-H your muscles and get your wiggles out all

while learning about a new sport each week. Jumping Beans is great for developing gross motor and fine

motor skills in a structured format that builds coordination, balance, and confidence.

Mini Med School

Is there a doctor in the school? Join us as we bring Mini Med School to your school! Our little doctors will use stuffed

animal patients to take blood pressure readings, give “stitches”, put on a cast, and make their own first aid kit, all while learning lots about what doctors, dentists, EMTs, and

other medical professionals do on a daily basis.

Princesses and Superheroes

Do you have what it takes to save the world? Do you have the sparkle to rule the world? Train to be the superhero or princess you were meant to be! Save the world from evil-

doers everywhere in this interactive and high energy class. The training combines co-operative games, team building

activities, literature, educational enrichment activities, and craft projects to ensure your powers will be supreme.

Rock-n-Roll Club

***NEW CLASS***

We are looking for the next rock and roll star! We will jam out with handmade instruments, learn hip songs and dance the class away. Your rocking scholars will build their social skills, gross motor and fine motor skills. We will show off

our moves at a final performance!

Rockets, Planes, and Flying Things

Watch it soar, see it glide, and come take a ride with rockets, planes, and flying things! We will build flying machines, test gliders, and soar to the moon through art, stories, and lots of

play! Our adventures will sharpen your imagination, kick start your motor skills, and ignite a passion for flying!

Scientist in Training

Take a dash of engineering and a sprinkle of earth science, toss it together with some fun and games, and you have an

all new STEAM-based class. Scientists will explore the different worlds of science through weekly take home

creations such as pizza gardens and rockets. Join us for this exciting journey into the world of science.

Tales and Treats

Tales and Treats cooks up the perfect recipe of books, games, music and cooking. We will blend early literacy skills and pair them with social skills such as following

directions and turn taking. Tales and Treats will make a tasty memory for your little scholar.

Whiz Kids

Join us on a science discovery mission in chemistry! Experiment with everyday materials for a bubbling and

brewing good time. There will be some explosions, a few creations, and a whole lot of discoveries. Don’t miss out on

Calling all inventors, creators, builders, and designers! Come build

Community and Leadership Workshop

Community and Leadership Workshop is a unique opportunity

for students to learn how to develop their business skills while impacting the world around them. Our future leaders will learn about entrepreneurship, public speaking, civic involvement and community

outreach opportunities with an engaging curriculum to channel their desire to have a positive

Dinosaur Discovery

Take an adventure back to the Jurassic Era where we will learn about dinosaurs who roamed the

Earth millions of years ago. Uncover fascinating facts, build

a dinosaur replica, and have an archaeological dig as you explore

your paleontological skills. In Dinosaur Discovery, you will

become a paleontologist faster than Ornithomimids ran from a T-Rex!

Green Thumb Club

Catch an insect, grow a terrarium, and save the earth…all while learning

Come discover, experiment, and create as we learn about the

colliding worlds of art and science in this STEAM-based class. We will

by visiting Italy to make tiramisu, sailing to Mexico to create salsa, and

Join us on a science discovery mission! We will explore the world

of chemistry, engineering, and earth science through experiments and encounters. This program will

Calling all wizard fans! This is like no other class you have ever

experienced. We will take a magical journey into the world of wizards. We will design trading cards, make a personal crest, create a treasure

“Be sure to study for the test on Friday!" What does that REALLY mean? Students often need more guidance than they

get in the classroom as they navigate the road of study skills. As your child becomes more independent, we will provide them

with the strategies that are most compatible with their learning style to get them organized, taking good notes and studying

effectively.

IN SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS

“DAY OFF” ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS

Little Scholars provides In School Field Trips to supplement your school’s curriculum by

providing small group instruction and an engaging learning experience for children in

grades PK-8th.

Any of the enrichment programs can be In-School Field Trips

Students rotate through ‘stations’ to experience the curriculum

Sessions typically run for 90 minutes, but our programs can fit into any schedule

Schools can pick the lesson(s) of their choice

Little Scholars provides “Day Off” Enrichment Programs using any of the enrichment

programs. This is a wonderful addition to enhance your school’s offerings to parents on

days where the children are out of school such as holiday breaks, parent teacher

conference days and teacher in service days.
