Elizabethtown leads the all-time series with Lebanon Valley 69-54, but the Dutchmen have won the last three installments. LVC won by 10, 82-72, last season in Annville, Pa.

The Blue Jays won their season opener, their only home game before tonight, over Penn State Berks and posted 53 points in the first half alone. Michael Pastore got off to the hot start, hitting 5 of 9 shots including 4 treys for a team-high 14 points by the break. E-town shot even better in the second half, just shy of 61 percent, as nine different players contributed to the second half output. Four were in double figures for the Jays, led by Pastore’s 18. Brandon Berry added 17 and was a team-best 4-for-4 at the foul line, Matt Thomas tied for a team-high with 7 FGM and finished with 16. Connor Moffatt recorded 15 and hit three treys.

Lebanon Valley has participated in a pair of tournaments and split games at both. They opened at Penn State Harrisburg’s Tip-Off Tournament with a loss in overtime to Neumann before rebounding for their first win of the ‘18-19 campaign the following day, an 84-80 victory over Gettysburg. This past week-end at their own Rinso Marquette Tournament, the Dutchmen this time won in OT, 93-81, over Bryn Athyn. They fell to Wilkes the next day by a bucket.

Zach Tucker had a season-high 28 points in that game against Wilkes, hitting 12 of 22 from the floor. He is the Dutchmen’s top scorer at 18.8 ppg, 11th in the MAC. The team’s 84.5 ppg are the fifth-highest thus far in the conference.

Senior Ethan DuBois is tied for the Landmark lead in steals per game, averaging 2.3 a contest through the Jays’ first three games. He is also fourth in assists per game. Thomas ranks second in field goal percentage and tied for third in blocks per game. Berry is seventh in free throw percentage.

E-town will host King’s (Pa.) next Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 7 p.m.
