From single sheet to fi nished book block
The fastBook Professional by Imaging Solutions is a 4-in-1 solution. A LayFlat book block isproduced from single sheets in just one working step. One push of a button triggers all of the necessary individual steps: creasing, folding, pressing, and gluing.
LayFlat book blocks are produced with minimum manpower requirements, and same-day fi nishing and shipping is possible.
Accurate folding and gluing ensure perfectly aligned book blocks. The sheets are glued back to back, by using a gluing roller and placed on a moving table to build the book block.
The fi nished book block is then transported onto a conveyor belt which connects fastBook Professional to the next fi nishing processes.

The sheet feeder of the fastBook Professional has a maximum stacking height of 100 mm (3.94”). An optional bar code scanner allows you to seperate the produced book blocks and manage your orders.
Sheet feeder
The sheet feeder of the fastBook Professional comes with an integrated rear edge separator that slightly lifts the rear edge of the next sheet for the book block before it is transported. This feature makes your book block production more effi cient because it enormously reduces the appearance of double sheets.
Additionally the fastBook Professional has also an integrated double sheet control that monitors the whole book block production process.
