Take advantage of the day!

In this pack we have assembled an array of essential information to help you and your students get the most

out of your STUDENTS ON TRACK program experience.

This information booklet includes the track map, terms and conditions of entry, information on our drivers and

teams, facts relating to Supercars and the all-important STUDENTS ON TRACK program. Please take a moment

to familiarise yourself with the event and location. We have also included some frequently asked questions to

help you plan your day.

Please have no hesitation in making copies of this manual if required — in particular the STUDENTS ON TRACK

research questions for students to aid you in gaining the most out of your STUDENTS ON TRACK experience.

The STUDENTS ON TRACK program is a Supercars initiative introduced to give students the chance to be part

of one of your state’s largest sporting events. We suggest that teachers compile an itinerary for the day as there

is no formal education component. We have included a suggested itinerary to assist.

We welcome any feedback that you may have on this initiative. Please email [email protected]

Once again, we welcome you to the Supercars STUDENTS ON TRACK program and we trust that you will enjoy

the day.

Dunlop Super2 Series

Aussie Racing Cars

Buckby’s Sports GTs

The training ground for up and coming Supercars superstars! Taking on the track in cars very similar to the Supercars in the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship, the Dunlop Super 2 Series is the perfect platform for aspiring 'main game' drivers to gain valuable seat time, and potentially score a wildcard into a Supercars round. http://www.supercars.com/super2/

Always a crowd favourite, the Aussie Racing Cars will be back in 2017. Despite their small size these cars have a lot of power, boasting a 1.2 litre, 125bhp, twin-cam, 16 valve engine that revs to 11500rpm. Their favourable power to weight ratio allows brings fast-paced action with maximum speeds in excess of 200kph. As one of Australia’s most popular motor sport categories, the Aussie Racing Cars are set to bring another exciting year of racing! www.aussieracingcars.com.au

A diverse mix of cars are set to support the Supercars Championship in 2017. Buckby’s Sports GTs brings together cars from both Circuit and Tarmac Rally disciplines. Featuring fire breathing V8’s, screaming turbots, exotic supercars and classic muscle cars, Sports GTs are set to battle it out this season!
