Horse Sale Terms & Conditions1. All guarantees are strictly between the buyer and the seller. All the sellers must guarantee the horse is SOUND. Right of

Recourse must be directly to the owner of the horse.2. All the consignments must be checked in at the McCook Farm & Ranch Expo Office (Red Willow County Fairgrounds –

Kiplinger Arena) and stalled by 8 a.m. Wednesday November 15th, 2017. 3. All horses must be 3 to 15 years old by January, 1 2017. 4. NO SUBSTITUTES will be allowed.5. The following will be required at the time of check-in at 8 a.m. on Wednesday November 15th. • General Health Check – current health certificate within 30 days of the sale. • Coggins Tested Negative – Provide verification of the West Nile vaccination. • Original Registration Papers if the horse is registered. A signed Transfer must also be with the papers.6. HYPP (Hyperkalemic Periodic Paralysis) test results must be disclosed on all horses descended from the stallion IMPRESSIVE if

consignor has knowledge of such test.7. Only horses consigned to the sale will be allowed on the sale grounds. Sale horses must go through the sale ring.8. All cataloged horses must enter the sale ring to be sold. 9. Terms of every sale are cash settlement to be made to the sale clerk at the time of the sale. 10. All horses entering the ring will be sold to the highest bidder, the auctioneer will take precedence, and decisions shall be final.11. In the event a dispute should arise as to a particular defect which should have been described, the buyer has the right to have

veterinarian examine the horse he has purchased to determine if the horse suffers from the defect. This examination is to be made and Star Enterprises TD LLC and the consignor are to be notified within 48 hours from the end of the sale in which the horse was sold. If the purchaser’s veterinarian determines the horse to have the alleged defect, Star Enterprises TD LLC as the agent shall appoint a veterinarian of its choice to determine if the horse had the defect and if the defect was present at the sale and it was not announced, the sale of said horse shall be null and void and the consignor must pay the commission on the sale, and the cost of any veterinary examination and veterinary work performed on the horse as result of the defect. If the horse is determined by the Star Enterprises veterinarian not to have the alleged defect, the sale of the horse is valid and enforceable and the purchaser assumes all costs of the examination and treatment.

12. If the buyer rightfully rejects the animal in the manner stated above within the time provided, the horses will be returned by the buyer to the consignor and the consignor will refund to the buyer the full purchase price of the animal together with all reasonable expenses incurred by the buyer in the connection with the animal from the time of sale until the return to the consignor.

13. The McCook Farm & Ranch Expo, Star Enterprises TD LLC, Red Willow County Fairgrounds, or anyone helping in the sale as-sumes no responsibility for accident or injury.

14. Star Enterprises TD LLC reserves to management the final and absolute right to interpret these rules and regulations and to arbitrarily settle or determine all matters, questions or differences in regard hereto, or otherwise arising out of or connected with, or incident to the sale.

15. Buyers and spectators are cautioned to be careful while on the grounds particularly while horses are being shown or sold in the sale ring. All persons attending the sale do so at their own risk. Neither the owners nor any other person connected with this sale assume any liability legal or other wise, for accidents to persons or property, before or after the sale.

Ace is a 11 year old registered Appaloosa Gelding. He is broke broke broke! We use him to do anything on the ranch — drag calves, gather, doctor, trail riding. He has been my main roping horse. Is started re-ally well on the heading side and will go catch any steer. Extremely nice Gelding.

Ike is an absolutely beautiful 3 year old gelding. Even though Ike is three he will be four before you know it! Iks is as gentle as they come and has seen more miles that most 6 year olds. I’ve used him branding and dragging calves. He has had a great start on the head and heel side. I have started him on live cattle and he is taking it like a champ. Let him go to work for you. He is one of the most honest horses I have had the privilege to train. No buck and 100% sound!! Will have ride at the sale.

We bought Rusty at the production sale in Salina, KS as a wean-ling. She was started at our ranch and rides around like a 10 year old. She is Two Eyed Red Buck on the bottom, shows a lot of cow and is very easy to get along with. She has excel-lent confirmation, and easy trot and lope. Rusty is more than ready to go any direction you want. We started working cattle and she has the mind to do it all! She will be one of those ex-ceptional long-term horses with steady riding and patience. No buck and guaranteed 100% sound — current on shots and worming.

Fancy is a 9 year old AQHA Registered mare. She’s been used on the ranch to gather and brand cattle. She is a good sized mare — a very smooth traveler. She has been started in the arena.

This mare has been rode in a feed yard is also papered well. She is a smaller horse but built like a tank — well broke and has some go! After Dad passed away she hasn’t been rode very often, we are hop-ing to find her a new home so that can change.

This sorrel gelding is a pet — he will come to you anywhere and has no spook. He is safe for both youth and elder. Pep came off the track and has good breeding. He has been used for a trail horse — packed and road elk hunting a year ago, unfortuneatley he hasn’t been saddled since. His owner passed and we need to find him a new home.

“Grace” I have been using this mare in my string for the last three years. She is a solid everyday ranch horse, she gets used year round, I have hauled her to brandings all over the country and wore out a lot of ropes dragging calves on her, I have used her to rope a lot of outside cattle and she knows her job well. I do most everything alone so she isn’t a horse that needs other horses around to stay good, she could care less either way. She is a nicely bred mare that gives you all she’s got day in and day out. She is bred right if you decide to raise a colt out of her someday.
