Headquartered in Washington D.C., the American Institute of Architects (AIA) has been the leading professional membership association for licensed architects, emerging professionals and allied partners since 1857. Through education and research, AIA and its more than 83,000 members express their commitment to excellence in design and livability in our nation’s built environment and communities.

The Atlanta chapter of AIA is currently the seventh-largest local chapter in the nation, with over 1,755 professional, associate and allied members. Our membership extends geographically from the Atlanta metropolitan area to North Georgia.
