Gymnastics New Zealand is proud to host the 2017 New Zealand Aerobics and Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships at ASB Stadium in Kohimarama, Auckland from 5
October – 10 October 2017.
The ASB Stadium offers quality facilities for indoor sports, events, exhibitions and major social occasions. The Stadium is conveniently located in the eastern suburbs,
within easy reach of a range of accommodation facilities and all the amenities that New Zealand's largest city has to offer.
Gymnastics New Zealand would like to thank ASB Stadium and Southern Trust for their support of this event.
We look forward to delivering another memorable experience for all involved and hope
you can join us.

All coaches and judges must be registered as Technical Members for Gymnastics New Zealand Championships 2017. To ensure
coaches can receive an accreditation for the event, they must have met all qualification requirements, including submitting a first aid
certificate and practical coaching hours as well as completing any online modules.

If an athlete is withdrawing from the event, please email [email protected] soon as possible.
The only refunds given to athletes that withdraw are for those who withdraw for medical reasons. A refund based on 80% of the
entry fee will be processed once the Manager/National Coordinator has submitted the completed Request for Withdrawal form and
the athlete’s medical certificate to Gymnastics NZ. No other refunds will be given for other costs/fees related with entering the
National Championships.

refunds will be processed after this date.

For the first time nationals merchandise is being sold online. They are able to pre order now from here. Pre-orders and normal
orders will be delivered from the beginning of September.
Merchandise orders made online before 1 September get a discounted postage rate of $10.
Merchandise will be sold at both competitions however there is a very limited amount so it is advised to order online to avoid
disappointment. Please note: Athlete t-shirts can only be purchased online up until 25th August. There will not be any athlete t-
shirts for sale at the event or after 25th August.

Volunteers receive free access to the event on all competition days, a volunteer polo as well as food and beverages during volunteer
shifts.
All trophies awarded at the 2016 Gymnastics New Zealand Championships must be present at this year’s event in Auckland.
Please bring your trophy with you. On arrival at the Stadium, please take the trophy to the Competition Office. Make sure you hand
your trophy to one of the office personnel. The trophy will then be transferred to the Awards room.
Your trophy must be returned engraved and polished and if necessary any damage repaired. Trophies are often damaged in transit
so we suggest packaging carefully in your luggage.
A further email reminder will be sent directly to 2016 recipients.
