1. Navi 650 satellite navigation system. Standard on both models the Navi 650

features the very latest in sat nav with seven-inch colour screen. It gives you fast

access to map data and points of interest to keep you informed and on the move.

Highlights also include a CD/MP3 CD player, DAB radio, AM/FM stereo radio with

36 station presets, USB connection and aux-in socket, six speakers, seven-band

graphic equaliser, Digital Sound Processor, 4 x 20W output – and excellent sound

quality. The DAB radio also means digital quality sound, a broader range of stations,

easier to find by name and improved track display info on some stations.

Navi 950 IntelliLink. Upgrade to this navigation system and you’ll also be able to

make calls and stream audio from your smartphone, tablet or other portable device

using Bluetooth®. It even features voice commands for navigation and phone calls.

So you stay connected for every minute of your journey. Optional at extra cost.

SAFEGUARD YOUR INTERESTSGTC combines advanced electronic options with proven safety features like the Opel Eye Driving Assistance Pack – featuring the innovative front camera system – or front, side and curtain airbags and reinforced passenger safety cell with pre-defined deformation zones.

Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR). Utilising the front

camera function, this clever system makes sure you’re

constantly made aware of speed limits, even when

temporary signs are put up. TSR continually monitors

road signs, and gives you a warning if you

unintentionally stray over the limit. It can even read

and display motorway electronic signs related to

speed limits like rain or snow warnings.

Lane Departure Warning (LDW). LDW uses the front

camera system to recognise lane marking lines, and

emits an audible warning if your vehicle leaves its

lane unintentionally (i.e. without you signalling),

preventing potential accidents and reminding you of

inattention or tiredness. The LDW system can be

deactivated via a facia switch.

Forward Collision Alert (FCA). Available as part of

the Driving Assistance Pack, FCA constantly shows the

distance to the leading vehicle in the instrument

panel, helping you to maintain a safe distance. In

addition, FCA – active when the car is moving faster

than 20mph – gives visual and audible warnings if you

approach a slower-moving vehicle too fast.

GTC drivers can choose from three powerful yet efficient

turbocharged engines each matched to a slick, six-speed

transmission. Petrol engines include a free-revving 140PS

1.4i Turbo and a 1.6i Direct Injection Turbo, producing an

uncompromising 200PS. Our diesel unit is equally impressive.

A new versatile 1.6CDTi ecoFLEX common rail ‘Whisper diesel’

unit developing 136PS.

FULFIL YOUR POTENTIALVisually, GTC takes your breath away. Performance-wise, it carries your strongest emotions in its wake. Poised, engaging and precise, the GTC chassis establishes the agile, spirited feel that characterises the car as a whole. Better still, the suspension has been carefully tuned to suit the specific demands of most road surfaces, using specialist input from renowned chassis experts.

Start/Stop technology. With power comes responsibility. So GTC also features Opel’s cutting edge

Start/Stop fuel saving and emissions reduction technology. The innovative system switches the engine

off when you stop at the lights or in traffic, then restarts it automatically once the clutch is depressed.

A wide range of in-built safety checks ensures total peace-of-mind in all circumstances. It’s fitted to

all GTC models.

FlexRide chassis settings. With the mere touch of a button,

this optional feature allows you to change the GTC’s whole

driving dynamics – from ‘Sport’ to ‘Tour’ and back again.

Using Continuous Damping Control (CDC) technology, FlexRide

automatically adjusts the dampers for excellent grip. In ‘Tour’

mode, it chooses the best settings for gentler straight-line

driving. Switch to ‘Sport’ mode and it instantly sharpens the

response of the speed-sensitive steering, accelerator and

automatic transmission (if fitted). It also changes the colour

of the ambient instrument lighting – from a cool white to a

more dynamic red effect.

Class-leading Sports suspension. Front-wheel drive cars with powerful engines place excessive demands

on conventional McPherson strut front suspension systems. Under heavy acceleration – especially in

tight bends – front traction is compromised, resulting in torque steer which can affect the car’s stability.

The compact HiPerStrut (High Performance Strut) system isolates the steering from the effects of engine

torque, boosting steering precision and grip. It also improves handling and enhances ride quality.

The compact Watt’s Link rear suspension delivers the stability benefits of multi-link systems without

their weight and space penalties.

WHAT ONSTAR CAN DO FOR YOU.

Automatic Crash Response.In the event of a crash, built-in vehicle sensors automatically alert an OnStar advisor, who will be immediately connected to your car. The advisor will assess the situation and if needed notify the emergency services and provide them with your exact GPS location1.

Wi-Fi Hotspot2.Your car is online! The extra-powerful OnStar roof antenna gives you a stable and quick Internet connection and creates a Wi-Fi Hotspot3 for up to seven devices1.

Smartphone App.At the touch of a button, remotely lock/unlock your doors, check your oil life or sound the horn and flash the lights1.

Stolen Vehicle Assistance.If someone steals your car, call our OnStar advisors and give them the reference number the Garda Síochána give you. The advisor will then provide the Garda Síochána with the location and prevent your car from being restarted so it can be recovered1.

Vehicle Diagnostics.Whenever you want you can ask OnStar to remotely check some of the key systems of your car like engine, transmission, emissions or airbags. If you wish, OnStar can also send you a monthly e-mail with this key data.

Destination Download.Searching for an alternative route, a restaurant, a petrol station or anywhere else you might need? Just press the Service Button! Our advisors will provide you with the address. They can automatically download the location to your Opel’s navigation system1,4.

• Once you’ve registered and activated OnStar, you can access every OnStar Service available on GTC models. To ensure security, several services will ask for your PIN.

• Press and hold the Privacy Button for approximately five seconds to mask your car’s location at any time. If you change your mind, press the Privacy Button again for approximately five seconds to reveal your location. Only in emergencies5 can OnStar override this.

Gross vehicle weight is the total permissible weight of the vehicle including passengers and their luggage. The maximum roof rack loading should not exceed 75kg. The maximum towing weights are based on the ability of the car, with two occupants of 75kg each, to restart on a 12% gradient, which is approximately 1 in 8.3, at sea level. The permitted trailer load applies up to the specified incline and up to an altitude of 1000 metres above sea level. The permissible gross train weight decreases by 10% for every 1000 metres of additional altitude. Any extra weight, such as luggage or additional passengers, should be deducted from the maximum towing weight. With a trailer fully loaded, maximum noseweight should not exceed 75kg. Always fit Opel towing attachments and accessories available from your Opel Dealer. They are designed specifically for Opel models and carry a 12-month guarantee. During trailer towing do not exceed a maximum speed of 120km/h. This speed limit is also applicable in countries with higher permitted speeds for trailer-vehicle combinations. Pay attention to the local speed limits. For trailers with low driving stability and caravans the use of an oscillation damper is strongly recommended.

New Vehicle Warranty.General Motors Ireland Limited (referred to as ‘Opel’) guarantees for motor vehicles of its manufacture, that each vehicle is free from defects according to the state of the art for a period of: The first 2 years carry an unlimited mileage warranty. The 3rd year of warranty has a mileage limitation of 100,000km for Passenger Cars & Car derived vans, for Combo, Vivaro and

Movano the limitation is 150,000km. The warranty is valid from delivery from the supplying Opel Distributor or from first registration, whichever occurs first (warranty start date).

Opel Roadside Assistance.This free-of-charge mobility service is valid for all new Opel vehicles during the first year after the date on which they were first registered or delivered to the customer by the dealer, depending on which date comes first. No matter where you are, the Opel Assistance is there to help. In more than 40 European countries – round the clock. Offering services such as breakdown assistance, towing services, rental car, hotel accommodation or the organisation of onward transportation, e.g. via rail or air (please see programme conditions).

12-year Anti-Perforation Warranty.Opel provides you with a reliable long-term warranty against perforation, provided you have your vehicle serviced and all necessary inspections performed according to the service booklet.
