Hurricane Maria – Red Cross Request• Friday 9/22 – Contacted by ARC with initial idea• Saturday 9/23 – Conference call to discuss details and
draft call for volunteers• Sunday 9/24 – Initial call for volunteers• Monday 9/25 – List of 50 turned over to ARC,
equipment needed ordered• Tuesday 9/26 – Equipment arrives and is packed and
shipped to Atlanta. Volunteers are vetted and processed by ARC. Volunteers receive travel orders.
• Wednesday 9/27 – Volunteers arrive in Atlanta and pick up equipment.
• Thursday 9/28 – Volunteers depart Atlanta for San Juan
