THE PACIFIC COAST LEAGUE IN CASE YOU MISSED IT u The Colorado Springs cracked the New Mexico scoreboard for the first time Saturday night, but the Isotopes came from behind to defeat the Sky Sox, 5-3. u Nate Orf recorded his third three-hit game of the road trip, while Brett Phillips hit his ninth home run of the season and first of the inside-the-park variety/ REACHING THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN u The Sky Sox are among the Pacific Coast League leaders in several major categories. u Colorado Springs is currently tiedthird in the PCL in team batting average (tied with Albuquerque) behind the Reno Aces Salt Lake Bees, and the Sox sit fourth in the league in team slugging percentage behind, Reno, El Paso and Memphis. u The Sox also sit in the top half of the hitter-friendly PCL in pitching statistics, placing fourth in the league in hits allowed behind Tacoma, Omaha and Nashville, fifth in earned runs allowed and total runs allowed, and seventh in earned run average. u This combination has given the Sox the third-best record in the PCL in terms of winning percentage (Tacoma and Memphis).
