Masquerade (verb): To disguise oneself. In wearing a mask, we are able to hide ourselves and deceive those around us – even in plain sight. Our cause is motivated by something else just as adept at staying hidden; often unnoticed for months at a time before making its presence known, and we are here to unveil it. It is called Lymphoma.

Lymphoma is a general term for cancer of the lymphatic system, more specifically cancer affecting white blood cells. In Australia lymphoma is the fifth most common cause of cancer and the most common cause of blood cancer deaths. Masked by many common cold and flu symptoms, lymphoma is one of the fastest growing cancers in the western world.

All proceed from the 2017 Charity Ball for Lymphoma Support will go towards funding a Specialist Lymphoma Nurse to support hospitals across Perth, providing much-needed information and ongoing support for patients and families across the state.
