All Day (10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.) Living in 1772: Historic Schoenbrunn Village

Animal Camp! Grades 1-3 and 4-6Learn about exotic animals (birds, small mammals, reptiles), large farm animals (horses, cows, pigs), companion animals (dogs, cats) and their behavior and training in this course. Explore a veterinary lab and discover how the lab equipment is used. Look for parasites under a microscope. Learn how to perform CPR on dogs, how to place bandages on pets, how to perform physical exams on animals and how to groom and bathe animals. Be a Programmer with Blockly Grades 4-6Have you ever wondered how programmers create things like video games and computer programs? Splatter & Drip Let’s Paint! Grades 1-3 and 4-6Did you know you can create a painting by blowing bubbles? Have you ever painted with shaving cream? This art workshop takes the kids beyond the paintbrush! Discover a variety of techniques and tools to create colorful paintings. Explore new ways to add fun textures and patterns to your artwork. Artistic Geometry Grades 1-3This course features hands-on activities that apply geometric concepts. Kids will be working with tangram puzzles to learn about plane figures, then solid figures. Teddy Bear ER Grades 1-3Students will bring their favorite teddy bear, doll or large action figure to explore age appropriate health care topics. Themes include Bear Care (basic first aid), Keep those Chompers Clean, Safety in the Den and Paw Washing. Students will also get to spend time in the nursing lab exploring medical equipment and simulators while listening to heart beats, lung sounds and blood pressures. *Get Wild with Nature Grades 1-3 and 4-6This great outdoor course is at the Norma Johnson Center in Dover, Ohio. Students will do differenthands-on activities with nature. Each day we will choose a new area to explore and learn about the different creatures that live in and around the water, meadows and woods.
