We have long been ambassadors for holidays on the Norfolk Broads, and it warms our hearts when we see others enjoying this beautiful and unique part of the country.

We used to bring our children on boating holidays, and even back then it was a chance to forget day to day life. In today’s hectic world the Norfolk Broads retains its feeling of escape and gives families the opportunity to break away from the stress of modern day life and just spend good old fashioned time together. We hear many stories of customers fondly remembering childhood adventures on the Broads and returning with their own families in tow.

With many people rediscovering, or indeed discovering for the first time, the joy of a boating holiday we have had another busy year. Aside from helping people find and plan their perfect Norfolk Broads holiday we have launched our first electric boat Whisper. Customers have found the quiet engine allows you to explore the water in a completely different way.

We also launched Admiral, our brand new luxury day cruiser, seating up to 12 it allows you to spend a day on the Broads in style. We are also working on the build of a brand new boat for 2017, why not subscribe to our newsletter to be one of the first to hear all about it?

PAYMENT PLANIf you’re booking ahead and you’d prefer to spread the cost of your holiday, we’re happy to set up a monthly instalment plan for you. We’ll divide the total cost of your holiday into equal payments, so that you’re all paid up 4 weeks before your holiday start date. Once you’ve made your first payment, we’ll take care of the rest.

If you decide to holiday aboard one of our cruisers we will meet you at the start of your break to give you a demonstration and a trial run on your boat, giving you confidence at the helm. Each boat also comes with a personalised skipper’s manual, this is a comprehensive guide to your boat which answers any questions you may have whilst on your holiday.

For those who prefer to stay on dry land our holiday properties are situated at the heart of the Norfolk Broads and feature

beautiful styling and mod cons. In short, everything you need to stop, relax and unwind in luxury.

RIVERSIDE COTTAGESThese spacious riverside homes offer luxurious living accommodation with contemporary glass and stainless steel balconies, ideal to take in the stunning views across the water. Each cottage has a TV and DVD player, and the high

spec kitchens are complete with fridge/freezer, electric oven/hob, microwave and dishwasher. The cottages also have their own outside seating. The beds are ready for arrival with full linen (duvets) and towels included. Sorry no pets are allowed in these properties.

MARINA COTTAGESOur fabulous marina cottages are extraordinarily spacious and feature big balconies with gorgeous views across our marina. The cottages are furnished and equipped to an exceptional standard with 42” wall-mounted flat screen TVs. All kitchens include full size fridge/freezer, electric oven/hob, microwave and dishwasher. Luxury bathrooms have over-bath showers or separate shower cubicles. Full bed linen (duvets) and towels are included. Decking area overlooking the marina. Pets welcome in Swan.

A modern and luxurious riverside haven.Built in 2013 the property features all the mod cons you’d expect from a luxury riverside cottage.

Ground floor: Enter the property via an impressive sun lounge. The entrance hall leads to a cloak room, WC, super king size bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a staircase leading to the first floor. The open plan lounge, dining and kitchen open onto the extended riverside terrace. From the kitchen you can access the utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Whether you’re an adventure seeker, a wildlife enthusiast, a foodie or you just want to see what the region has to offer, let us be your guide to combining relaxation with variety for the ultimate Norfolk Broads experience.

Heritage and Culture Norwich is only a 30 minute drive away. Take a tour of the city’s historic castle, visit the open air traditional market or simply discover the unique array of shops Norwich has to offer.

For history that goes back even further, walk the Coast Path to the site where the 2012 tidal surge uncovered the oldest evidence of human activity outside of Africa.

Family Fun With 50 miles of Norfolk coastline there is an abundance of beautiful sandy beach, encompassing natural sand dunes and seaside amusements for all the family.

Wroxham Barns is the ‘must visit’ for all the family – whatever your age! With local produce, artisan shops and a junior farm there is something for all.

Visit the award winning BeWILDerwood located in Horning. With storytelling in the forest, magical treehouses and intriguing characters, it’s not just the children’s imaginations that will run riot!

To book your holiday All we ask is that you make an initial payment of 25% of your holiday cost, with the balance to be received by us no later than 56 days before the holiday start date. Once your booking is confirmed you will be required to adhere to our terms and conditions (please see website or ask us to post a copy). Alternatively you can spread the cost of your holiday using our simple monthly payment plan.

For cottage holidays, the security deposit of £50 per property (£200 for Deerfoot & Tealby) will be refunded by the company at the end of your holiday (less any costs for breakages, damage, etc). If the cost of making good any breakages or other damage is greater than the security deposit, you will be required to pay the excess to the company.

Arrival and Departure Boating: Your cruiser will be available between 2pm and 4pm so

there’s plenty of time to show you the ropes. We do ask that arrivals during March, April & October are with us before 3pm. Once aboard you will be shown the controls and taken on a trial run before you leave the marina. When returning the cruiser please can you vacate by 9am so that we can make sure everything is ship shape for the next holiday makers. Cottages: You can arrive for your property from 3pm and your property should be vacated by 10am on the last day of your holiday unless otherwise stated on property details. Please note: If arriving after 4.30pm please call us on 01692 631111.

Pets We do allow pets on certain boats and properties. Please see Key to Symbols on page 8 and 36 for more information. We do make a small charge of £35 per pet to cover additional cleaning.

Smoking We do not allow smoking on any of our cruisers or within any of the properties.

Medical Equipment Nebulisers and medical equipment remain the responsibility of the customer at all times. Ferry Marina takes no responsibility for the use of medical equipment in the event of loss of power.

Passage under bridges We’d love you to see all that the Broads has to offer, but there are a few low bridges to consider. Wroxham, Potter Heigham and Beccles all have low bridges through which some boats will not pass at any time. It’s also worth noting that in certain cases water and tidal conditions may make these bridges impassable to ALL boats. Boats that are marked ‘bridge friendly’ should pass under all bridges at suitable states of the tide but not guaranteed.
