Registration fee of $150, is required to ensure a space is reserved for your child(ren)

Returning students: Registration fee is due with letter of intent to return. If registration fee is not received by April 15th, fee will increase to $200.00, and will be applied to your account.

CONTRACT FOR TUITION PAYMENT

TUITION POLICIES

Enrollment in St. Croix Montessori is for a full academic year. First payment and registration/material fees are due at the signing of contract. There will be no tuition credit or make-up time for absences due to illness or vacation.

PAYMENT

St. Croix Montessori accepts Money Orders, Checks, MasterCard, and Visa for any and all payments.

$35.00 fee for all insufficient funds including returned checks and/or declined credit cards. After two incidents of insufficient funds only certified check/money order or cashier check will be accepted.

LATE PAYMENT PENALTY

A $25.00 per month late fee will be assessed for any payments made after the 5th of each month. Please be aware that there are no grace periods beyond the 5th of the month.

An additional $25.00 late fee will be assessed if tuition payment is not paid by the 30th of the month. In addition, payment in arrears may result in suspension of services, including suspension of students from classes and/or withholding of student records.

ADMISSION DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR

Enrollment at St. Croix Montessori is for a full academic year. Tuition charges will be pro-rated on a semester basis for students enrolling after the beginning of the academic year, depending on enrollment date.

Accounts must be kept current at all times. Tuition and fees on any plan must be paid before a student will be permitted to enter class.

SERVICE HOURS

Families are expected to give at least 20 hours of service to the school each year or, if unable to meet the service hours requirement, agree to pay a fee of $25.00 for each service hour not completed.

WITHDRAWALS

Upon receipt of the registration fee, the School will hold a place for your child in our program and you will be contractually obligated to pay the entire years tuition. You will also be required to attend a parent orientation meeting prior to the start of the school year.

Acknowledgement

We/I understand and have agreed to pay the full years tuition; which is not refundable. We/I have read the Parent handbook and agree to follow the guidelines set forth by St. Croix Montessori.

We/I agree that any controversy or claim between us/me and the School, its employees and agents arising out of or relating in any way to my childs enrollment at the School shall be resolved by arbitration. Arbitration shall take place pursuant to the Federal Arbitration Act and in accordance with the Rules governing arbitration set forth by the American Arbitration Association, as they shall be amended from time to time. Judgment on the award rendered may be entered in any court having jurisdiction over the matter.

In the event that any matter or dispute between us is deemed by the arbitrator or by any court of competent jurisdiction to be non-arbitrable, we/I hereby expressly waive trial by jury with respect to such claim or dispute. We/I understand and agree that in such event, any decision regarding such claim or dispute will be made by the court as finder of fact, and not by a jury.
