Charlotte Diamond is returning to Revelstoke on Saturday, October 1st, for a special family concert. She will have new songs

for her fans from her new recording. However, the audience will still hear their favourite songs such as Four Hugs a Day, I am a Pizza (Je suis une pizza), and Octopus (Slippery Fish).

Charlotte will be accompanied by her son Matt on electric guitar.

ARRIVAL, the Official ABBA Tribute Band, is an authentic-sounding, seven-piece tribute to Abba. They perform in

full costumes, similar to the actual styles worn by the original Abba.

The band of professional musicians from Vancouver has played many shows over the last few years in casinos, theatres and corporate events, all around the world. You will be amazed at how closely Arrival-Canada’s tribute to ABBA resembles the original in look and sound.

Prepare to go back in time, so you can experience this music all over again!

Adding a touch of theatrics to every show, Eaglesmith dubbed his band The Traveling Steam Show and they began performing

in steampunk-ish outfits a few years ago when he released his Latin-influenced rock album Cha Cha Cha. “It harkens back to the ’60s and ’70s variety shows that were on TV,” Eaglesmith told the Albuquerque Journal. “It’s a show. It’s a lot more than a concert. I like to pay attention to what’s cutting edge and bring that into the live show.”

Tambourine, Fred Eaglesmith’s 20th album reaffirms his rock ‘n’ roll odyssey and is some of his most comprehensive work yet. The band’s musical cohesion shows how tried and true his Travelling Steam Show really is and the level of production and engineering brings it all together to set a new bar of originality and creativity.

The Travelling Mabels are a folk country female trio of singer-songwriters, performing songs with intelligent, humorous

lyrics, melodic harmonies and their energetic brand of country roots. Collectively, their songs bring a wealth of life experience to the stage. The beauty of the Mabels is that they represent three generations of women who together form a combined harmony blend. This has opened the door to a dynamic energy both musically and in the rapport with the audiences that most wouldn’t experience every day.

KRAFTSINGLES FOR EVERYONE

Kraft Singles for Everyone is a heart-felt and heartbreaking performance that opens with the death of a beloved matriarch and

touches on such subjects as being an ‘ex-Catholic’ queer and the dynamics of ‘small-town’ big families, and leaves us all asking ourselves what we truly inherit from the blood that runs in our veins. Grappling with the complex and intensely personal issues of gender identity as well as topics such as family, class, and social justice, Ivan Coyote is an audience favourite from Anchorage to Amsterdam. With a generous heart, a quick wit, and the nuanced and finely-honed timing of a gifted raconteur, Ivan’s stories remind of us of our own fallible and imperfect humanity while at the same time inspiring us to change the world.

A boy growing up in Dublin during the 1980s escapes his strained family life by starting a band to impress the

mysterious girl he likes.

After her family attempts to sell her into marriage, a young Afghan refugee in Iran channels her frustrations

and seizes her destiny through music. Grabbing the mic, she spits fiery rhymes in the face of oppressive traditions.

After suffering dramatic set backs in their lives, three close friends, who are among the world’s best

professional climbers, battle their complicated pasts, inner demons and nature’s harshest elements in an attempt to climb the Shark’s Fin on Mount Meru.

A former speed-chess champion struggling with bipolar disorder (Cliff Curtis) takes over as coach of a chess

team for at-risk youth, in the inspirational true story of New Zealand chess legend Genesis Potini.

Set in the mid-1980s, and provided color and contrast through global events and cultural phenomena, Umrika,

Launches September 2016

This fall, Flying Arrow Productions will launch a community theatre project. The project will begin with theatre workshops across

the Revelstoke community to explore the themes of the refugee crisis, immigration, resettlement and how a community welcomes newcomers. By sharing stories and reflecting on our past we will build a theatre performance to share with the wider community. This project will begin in September 2016, with a public community performance in the spring of 2017. All community members of all ages, abilities and interests are welcome to participate for all or part of this free project. No skills are necessary! Remember theatre requires more than just actors – we will need all skills from the entire community to create this work of art.

Dirt! The MovieDIRT! The Movie –narrated by Jamie Lee Curtis– brings to life the environmental, economic, social and political impact that the soil has.

Polyfaces’ is a joyful film about connecting to the land and the community.

Produced over 4 years it follows the Salatin’s, a 4th generation farming family who do ‘everything different to everyone else’as they produce food in a way that works with nature, not against it.
