TriNet, Benefits Management Analyst June 2015 – Current o Actuarial Modeling/Reporting – Maintain actuarial models for insurance carriers to determine

monthly claims liability. Claims reserves are determined using historical experience, seasonality adjustments, trend, weekday intensity and completion factors. Models contain premium, admin and claims components used to determine monthly earnings. The earned margin derived from the models is presented to executive management on a monthly basis. The presentation material includes an analysis of the results as they vary to forecast as well as the drivers of the earnings.

o Forecasting Insurance Services – On a quarterly basis, provide an updated forecast on all insurance products for four product lines. Responsibility is specifically focused on medical hard margin which includes gross revenue and expense schedules by carrier, plan, and subscriber. Considerations are made to membership mix, premium erosion, new business, attrition, trends, and historical experience.

o Audit Compliance – Provide financial compliance audit documentation related to carrier reserve estimates and claims validity. The audit documentation produced contributes to the key controls required to satisfy the financial audit as required of the publicly traded company.
