Thursday – prepare gestation pens
Friday – wash sows and move to farrowing pens
Saturday – measure US-scan and back-fat
Sunday – move sows to gestation pens

• 16.30-16.50 - remove manure, switch on heat lamps for sows that are due and/or show signs of impending farrowing
• 16.50-17.00 – return tools to their places, record the day’s data, switch off the light in nursery and farrowing
