Guest Speaker: Richard Farrell Topic: How to sell in the age of the information economy. Richard P. Farrell is President of Tangent Knowledge Systems. Having been responsible for sales and business development for nearly 25 years, Richard brings a tremendous depth of experience and results to his audiences. His passionate, provocative and interactive style encourages audience participation, learning, and improvement while providing practical, usable “time tested” information. Richard stresses a
non-selling posture that allows the sales person to play the role of a “change agent” rather than a product-centric transactional sales person.
He has worked with a range of companies from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups in helping them optimize their performance by assessing their sales people, sales processes, management structure and strategies. In working with his clients Richard has helped identify performance gaps and provided sales plans to help track, measure and execute objectives to increase the company’s bottom line.
Today in his role of President of Tangent Knowledge Systems, Richard continues to actively sell, prospect and manage client relationships in addition to the high performance training and development program he personally conducts.

Photo Contest Each year, MFPA offers a photo contest for manufacturer members. The industry peers vote upon all projects during the conference. This allows manufacturers to be recognized for their outstanding and innovative work. Trivantage will sponsor the 2016 photo contest and winners will be announced during the Presidents semi formal dinner on Friday, February 5th. All submittals must be submitted before January 26th by 5 P.M. CST in order to qualify. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Rules for Entry 1. New installation are eligible for entry if your company has manufactured 2 of the following: 1) frame 2) cover 3) graphics 2. Recover installation are eligible if your company original manufactured both the frame and cover. 3. All work can be entered regardless of when the work was originally manufactured. 4. Previous entries are not allowed. 5. Each company is allowed only 1 entry per category. 6. Each entry is limited to 2 photos and are to be submitted per the upload directions below. 7. Be sure to include with the photo(s) your submittal form for each photo. 8. All entries must include fabric of some kind. Metal covered awnings will not be accepted! 9. The photo contest chairman reserves the right to re-classify an entry. The decision of the chairman is final. 10. Voting will be done by ballot at the convention. 1 ballot per company. Ballots will be provided at registration. 11. No entries will be accepted at the convention! No exceptions!
When uploading photos you must have the submittal form located on the next page in the same folder as your photo. Please compress all photos along with the filled out form into one
folder before uploading. Any entries uploaded without the required information on the form will be discarded. Upload Location: 1. Go to https://www.hightail.com/u/LawrenceFabric 2.
