Welcome to Lake Eola Park and our 9th annual Downtown for the Holidays Tree Lighting Celebration.
This celebration is one of the many Downtown for the Holidays events going on this month along with free, family-friendly movies, concerts and visits from Santa. Tonight, we will officially light our 72-foot Christmas tree and the entire park, turning Lake Eola Park into Eola Wonderland.
I hope that you and your family will visit Lake Eola Park often this holiday season to experience all that it has to offer.
Tonight’s event would not be possible without the following partners: Trinity Downtown, News 6, The Daily City and the Salvation Army. I’d also like to thank Encore! Cast Performing Arts and Sunshine Mathews for providing us with holiday performances.
