SUNLON·Purple Valley Eden, Nongchang Road 9, Yongdinghe Main Chan-

It is the first time that SPARTAN RACE comes to Beijing. The flat course is in

SUNLON·Purple Valley Eden, which is the wonderful place to take wedding

photography with lavender. Challenging obstacles are in the way of the

backtracking course.

SUBWAY & SHUTTLE BUS:

Take Line 14 to Dawayao Station and then go to SUNLON·Purple Valley Eden;

Take Line 14 to Dawayao Station, and then exit to Gate A. We will offer shut-

tle bus to the location.

Shuttle bus operation time: 7:30am-17:30pm

One shuttle bus every 10 minutes (both directions). About 25 minutes to get

the destination.

PRE-RACE DETAILS

Follow these Pre-Race Instructions to ensure a speedy

registration on race day!

● View Beijing Event Page on the official website, and

then scroll down to IMPORTANT RACE DOCUMENTS.

● Your bib number will be announced on the Oct. 25th

(Tuesday).

● Find Wavier and print it.

● Fill out the waiver completely and bring it with you

along with one valid form of ID.

● EVERY RACER MUST SIGN A WAIVER & SHOW A VALID

FORM OF ID!

DO NOT FOGET YOUR ID/PASSPORT/STUDENT CARD！！

RACE DAY REGISTRATION

Tips: Race Day Registration prices will reflect the current pricing online.

Onsite registration OPENS at 8:00am and CLOSES at 2:30pm.

STEP 1: With your Signed Waivers, Bib Number, and IDENTIFICATION in hand, proceed to

the REGISTRATION TENTS.

** If you DO NOT have your Waivers or Bib Number, you can locate these at the WAIVER/

BIB NUMBER tents.

STEP 2: Find the registration lane with the number sequence that matches your BIB number.

STEP 3: Participants will hand race waiver to one of our awesome Volunteers in the Regis-

tration tent. Waivers and ID will be checked to verify identity before packet is received.

Tips: Students should show your student card. If you forget it or show invalid infor-

mation, you must make up the full bill (pay RMB 200), otherwise you cannot get the

race envelope.

STEP 4: Registration succeed; you will get:

●Bib envelope (Take home as a souvenir!).

●Headband with your bib number, i.e. your bib- please wear headband during race

so we can recognize your bib number.

●Wristband with your Start Time. All Racers MUST run during their designated start

time. This wristband will get you into the start corral and serves as your festival ac-

cess AFTER your race. Please keep it on at all times.

●Timing chip, which is tied to the wristband.

●A Reebok race T-shirt!

START TIME

We will announce your exact start time through e-mail

on Oct. 25th. If you are not satisfied with your start

time, you will have ONE chance to change it through

the received e-mail. The DEADLINE on changing start-

ing time is 3.pm, Oct. 28th, 2016.

Tips:

Please arrive at the starting area on time.

If you are not clear about your start time, please check your

e-mail, and get it at bib tent near the entrance.

EVENT SERVICE | WATER STATION

TWO water stations are along the course serving pure wa-

ter and Biosteel sports beverage. Every finisher will receive

a free can of Biosteel at the finish line. Supplies are abun-

dant, and you can also bring your own supplies.

EVENT SERVICE | TIMING SERVICE

You will receive a timing chip and wristband to record

your time and results. timing chip must be fastened

around wrist in order to record your finish time pre-

cisely. After the race, you should return the timing

chip. You can check your time at the Result tent, or

you can check it on the official website in the follow-

ing days.

EVENT SERVICE | SPECTATORS

● Your friends or family members are allowed to

watch your performance FOR FREE. Spectators have

their own entrance on the race day.

● Please take care of your kids.

● All the spectators should take registration and then

wear your wristband.

● Spectators will have unique viewpoints, who can

take photos for your supporting athlete.

EVENT SERVICE | FOOD

Food and drinks are for sale on the grounds (remember

bring your cash).

EVENT SERVICE | BAG CHECK

We provide bag check service. If you plan to store your bag,

we will write down your bib number on the sticker which on

your bag. When you finish the race, place show your bib

and fetch your bag.

Bag check service will open at 8:00 am until the last partici-

pant fetch his/her bag.

EVENT SERVICE | INSURANCE

Our insurance partner Zhongan Insurance

providing at most 300,000 RMB insured acci-

dent insurance to every racer.

EVENT SERVICE | SHOWER

Shower facilities are on the spot, please bring your towel.

HOT water is provided on the spot in case of sickness.

Please finish your shower in 5 minutes.

Considering the purity of farm and water source, please

do not bring any chemical bath products, including

shampoo, facial cleanser etc.

EVENT SERVICE | FINISHERS RECEIVE

You will get Sprint Finisher Medal, Sprint Finisher T-shirt,

raincoat, warming blanket , banana and a can of Biosteel.

Every finisher will get a cup of light beer by showing your

wristband. The wristband will be stamped if you receive the

beer.

Awarding ceremony will be held at around 10:30 am on

Sunday.

First Place 3000RMB

Photographers are settled along the courses and the post-

race victory photo tent, so as to take photos when you

break obstacles. After receiving your finishing goods, we

provide a victory photo tent for finisher to take finishing

photos. Professional event day photos will be posted on the

event page 5-7 days after the event, FREE OF CHARGE!

EVENT DECLARATION

● ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT

ALL TIMES. LEAVING YOUR CHILD UNATTENDED WHILE YOU

ARE RACING WILL RESULT IN BEING PULLED OFF THE

COURSE AND ASKED TO LEAVE.

● No pop-up tents are allowed in the festival. Tent space is re-

served for Sponsors.

● No coolers or glass bottles allowed on property. Security staff

will check for them as you enter.

● Please leave a sticker with your name and phone number on

your camera or other electronic equipment. This is the ONLY

way to find them if you lose your equipment.

● You must have ID to check in. Racers ages between 18 and 60

can participate in the adult’s race.

● Drink plenty of water before the race and come prepared!

● Get a good night’s sleep. This race is no joke...

INCLEMENT WEATHER

In the event of inclement weather such as light-

ning, tornadoes, hurricanes and the like, Spartan Race

reserves the right to eliminate obstacles, select por-

tions of the course, or cancel the event in order to

ensure the safety of racers, volunteers and staff.

As always, weather can be unpredictable. Please

come prepared for chilly morning and evening temps

and possible rainstorms.
