-Objective-My goal is to acquire a challenging position as a Substance Abuse Counselor and/or Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician. I have passed the IC&RC exam and obtained an A.A.S. degree in Substance Abuse Counseling from Intercoast College. Progress notes, treatment planning urinalysis testing, managed care reviews, crisis interventions, family groups, one on one sessions, intake, screenings and discharge planning. Practiced 12 core functions daily. Have taken courses for Vivitrol and Management Assaultive Behavior (MAB).

Starbucks Coffee Company 1998-2006 2009-2011Assistant Manager, Shift lead, Barista, Helped open the majority of stores in the High Desert region. Have experience in banking, training new employees, coffee master, open and closing of stores, pastry ordering and receiving. Daily Labor management and scheduling. Participated in many community fundraising events. Cancer and HIV charity walks/events, Toys for Tots and more.

Daily progress notes, UA testing, administrative duties, one on one sessions, crisis interventions. intake procedures, utilizing twelve core functions daily and connecting with clients. 30 day volunteer before internship.
