❷ SCHEDULE

21st October, 2016 Friday | 12.00 pm - 12.30 pm | Round I Quiz: Preliminary Selection

21st October, 2016 Friday | 01.30 pm - 02.30 pm | Round II Quiz: Pre-Final Elimination | Final | Tie Breakers

❸SCOPE AND SALIENT FEATURES

o Encompasses the overarching domain areas of Gut Microbiology in clinical practice and research

o Increasing grade levels of memory, reasoning and analytical skills across the rounds and levels.

o Will follow the standard Table Quiz format

o Rounds I – III Quiz: Preliminary Selection, Pre-final Elimination, Final (3 levels)

o A Sudden Death Tie Breaker in the event of tie and/or to arbitrate ❶st, ❷nd, ❸rd positions.

o The organiser appointed panel of adjudicators will oversee the event and assess prevailing conditions.

o Quiz master reserve the right to intercede rules as necessary and the decision will be final.

o Questions remaining unanswered for 15 seconds will be assumed as answer not known.

o The First Answer given will be the one accepted.

❹ELIGIBILITY CRITERION FOR PARTICIPATION

Postgraduates | Registered for quiz | Individual level.

❺MANDATORY INSTRUCTIONS TO PARTICIPANTS

All participants to arrive event venue at least 15 minutes ahead.

A single sheet of paper, a pencil or pen will be provided at your desk.

No calculators, memory retention digital gadgets / electronic devices are permitted during quiz.

Do not use cell phones, must be switched off and put away strictly.

Restrain talking to neighbour, fiddling around.

Cheating, dishonesty and malpractice of any nature found and/or reported leads to immediate debarring.

Adjust seating to ensure you can see what is being projected on the screen.

Remain polite, maintain calm and decorum.

Be direct to answer and with clarity.
