Vietnam - a country in Southeast Asia- is proud of

its long coast line for nearly 2000 miles. As a strip

of land shaped like the letter “S”, Vietnam is a

transport junction from the Indian Ocean to the

Pacific Ocean and the gateway to the

mysterious Southeast Asia. Our country is known

for its jungles and monsoon forests, which are

diverse ecosystems that are alive with unique

wildlife. Trekking is a popular activity in our

country, particularly the mountains of SaPa and

the primeval landscape of Cuc Phuong National

Park. For a more urban escape, Food Street,

motorbikes, Tra da via he (Ice Tea time on the

street) are the most common things that any

tourists can find in Hanoi, Saigon or Da Nang.

FPT UNIVERSITY

DISCOVERY This is the 2-session course that

provides students a brief

understanding of Vietnamese

language, culture and its

history. Moreover, students will

have a chance to understand

our relationship with the

region and the World, as well

as our rapid transformation

after the two wars in the past

VIP TALK Immerse in a one-session VIP-

Talk with selected topics from

successful experts, sharing

their own experience and

knowledge. The students will

have a chance to get to

know insight operation of

industries, participate in

focused discussion related to

the topic and consolidate

your understanding. Topics

customized based on

students’ background and

agreement is going ahead. Having

understanding and knowledge of

these key factors can enhance

students’ career prospects in future.

ENRICHMENT ACIVITIES Hanoi City tour Said to be the quintessential city

of Vietnam – a millennium-old

capital of crumbling pagodas

and labyrinthine streets existed a

thousand years, Hanoi is a mix of

a busy modern life and

sustainable values preserved for

generations. As such, Hanoi has

become extremely attractive to

tourists especially with Culture

and History tours.

Students will have the chance to

visit famous places in Hanoi,

including: Ho Chi Minh

mausoleum, Temple of Literature

(the first university in Vietnam),

Museum of Ethnology, and other

must-go places.

Discover Ha Long Bay Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World

Heritage Site, and a popular

travel destination in the North of

Vietnam. The bay features thousands of limestone karsts and

isles in various sizes and shapes.

The limestone in this bay has

gone through 500 million years of

formation in different conditions

and environments. The evolution

of the karsts in this bay has taken

20 million years under the impact

of the tropical wet climate.

This trip allows students to explore

the charm and tranquility beauty

of Ha Long Bay through the most

famous sites on the bay. Along

the journey, you will visit Thien

Cung Cave, the amazing Sung

Sot (Surprise) Cave, and enjoy

the stunning view of sunrise over

the bay. Moreover, nothing is

more enjoyable than free

kayaking on the vast sea, and

exploring the natural beauty of

many Islets

Bat Trang pottery Bat Trang is a famous pottery

village located approximately

about 15km outside of Hanoi,

surrounded by fertile farmland. As

time went by, the village’s

ceramic products have

developed and become well

known for the best quality, style

and glaze, both inside and

outside of the nation. Many of

these are now customized for

aristocratic families and religious

needs.

Its popular foreign markets are

Japan, the Netherlands, Britain,

Portugal, Southeast Asia, etc.

During this tour, students can take

part in the artisans forming,

painting class and glazing their

products, which are then baked

for several days in huge kilns.

Vietnamese cooking

class Vietnamese food is famous for

being not only tasteful but also

very healthy. During the class,

students are guided all the steps

to make their own Vietnamese

dishes varied from spring rolls,

Pho-soup to Vietnamese desserts.
