I want to thank you for your interest in this Inaugural ABBA Fall Select Brahman Sale. �is new opportunity allows ABBA Members to both market and purchase elite seedstock cattle and genetics.

As you are aware, we are amidst some of the most exciting times in the cattle industry with the rebuilding of the nation’s cow herd and the emphasis being placed on Brahman & F-1 cattle. Already this year we have seen a continued increased demand for our cattle and expect this to continue for years to come.

To take advantage of the opportunities ahead, you as producers must buy proven genetics that will last and will produce offspring that will be marketable to prospective buyers. I encourage you to view this elite offering very closely as there will be something for everyone.

In addition to the outstanding cattle offering you will want to attend the other festivities taking place earlier in the week. �is sale was strategically planned to conclude a successful week that includes the National Show in Dallas on October 19-20 and �e Brazos Valley Fair and International Field Day on October 21. Sale Terms and ConditionsAll cattle offered for sale will be sold to the highest bidder. �e Auctioneer will settle any disputes with regards to bids and his decision will be final. Corrections or additions to any information in the sale catalog will be announced from the auction block and will take precedence over any printed material. It is the responsibility of the seller to provide the sale management with any corrections prior to the sale.

PAYMENT Terms of the sale are cash or check payable to Broken Triangle Cattle in full to sale clerk immediately following the sale. Cattle will not be released until payment is made, unless prior arrangements are made with sale management. Each animal will become the buyer’s responsibility as soon as sold. �e owners, employees, auctioneer or other affiliated personnel will not be responsible for any accidents, but will make every effort to provide for the safety and comfort of the animals and attendees. Transfer of animal ownership will be the responsibility of Broken Triangle Cattle and will be done at the expense of seller only after clearance of all checks. Transfers should be completed within 2 weeks of sale date.

HEALTH STATUS Every animal in the sale will be represented by state approved health certificate for interstate shipping. All cattle sold for export must be paid in full immediately following the sale. Seller will supply all necessary health testing required for export to the buyer’s specific country. �e buyer must arrange for the care of the animals until proper health papers can be completed.

BREEDING STATUS Bulls will be fertility tested and will meet the Trich requirements for Texas and out of state shipment. All bred females are considered breeders with no further guarantee. All animals are guaranteed to be breeders with the exception of (a) any female that is placed in an embryo transplant program and subjected to super-ovulation or (b) neglect on part of the buyer. In the event an animal is claimed to be a non-breeder, the purchaser may return the animal to the seller’s farm if in good condition and accompanied with a health certificate indicating that the animal is free from infectious and contagious disease. �is is done at purchaser’s expense. �e seller is then entitled to a six month trial following the return of the animal, at which time he will have the opportunity to determine the animals breeding ability. If at the end of six months the seller is unable to prove the animal is a sound breeder the seller shall have the option to replace the animal with another of similar quality or to refund the purchase price. If the seller determines the proven breeding ability of the animal it shall be obligation of the purchaser to accept delivery of the animal. All transportation is to be at purchaser’s expense.

�ere will be NO LOAD OUT DURING SALE. Cattle must be removed from sales facility immediately following sale on Saturday evening unless other arrangements have been made and approved by sale management.
