Plan Azur - Government SponsoredIn 1999, His Highness Crown Prince Sidi Mohammed was declared King ofMorocco 'His Majesty King Mohammed VI'. After his enthronement, the Kinguncovered his ambitious development plans for Morocco. Mediterrania-Saïdia ispart of “Vision 2010 Plan Azur”: a plan to increase tourism to 10 million annualvisitors by 2010.
