Dear Families and Friends, The 2016-2017 school year was a remarkable one for Corpus Christi Catholic School! Students were highly engaged in STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) lessons, which integrated disciplines across the curriculum. Teachers used of a variety of pedagogies and methodologies to actively employ students in learning, which promoted problem solving and creative thinking. Teachers eagerly participated in research based professional development opportunities, including the Applied Math Program through ConocoPhilips and Rice University. To top this off, academic and sports teams had numerous successes!

Students participated in activities reinforcing academics, spirituality, social skills and physical development. Commitment to learning, collaboration and critical thinking enabled scholars to do an outstanding job of representing Corpus Christi Catholic School in competitions! · Prep bowl team qualified for national competition. · Middle school scholars placed 3rd in the St. Agnes math competition. · Robotics team received the judges’ award for programming. · 5 students placed in the University of St. Thomas Essay Contest for Catholic Schools Week. · 2 students placed in the Archdiocesan Middle School Science Fair. Thanks to the dedication of our awesome coaching staff, sports teams excelled as well! We are proud of our student athletes who exhibited good sportsmanship and attitudes coupled with hard work and dedication. · Lady Colts volleyball team qualified for the playoffs. · Co-ed soccer team earned the title of Division 2 Champions for the second year in a row. · Many members of the track team were qualifiers for the championship round. · Both the girls and boys track teams won the Small School Division Championship for a consecutive three

year win! We are thankful for our amazing faculty and staff who tirelessly dedicate their time and energy to our students and for our fantastic families who contribute their time, talents and treasures. As you read this report, I hope that you will gain a greater understanding as to how Corpus Christi Catholic School is making a BIG DIFFERENCE in the lives of tomorrow's leaders. We are grateful for all of the support you have provided us. Because of supporters such as you, we are able to fulfill our mission of forming disciples of Christ while providing a rigorous, hands-on learning experience for our scholars that's both affordable and accessible. SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT Corpus Christi Catholic School strives to form

disciples of Jesus Christ. The religion curriculum promotes knowledge of faith at each level through daily religion instruction. • Weekly Friday all school Mass, special liturgies, monthly celebration of Mass

with the parish community, Adoration

• Student led liturgies, 3rd through 8th grade students take turns weekly

to serve as altar servers, gift bearers, greeters, lectors and ushers

• Student choir

• Saint of the Month awards to students demonstrating Saint like qualities

• First Reconciliation and First Eucharist for 2nd Grade

• Reconciliation offered to students during Advent and Lent

• Stations of the Cross

• Prayer tables in classrooms
