Position : HVAC Mechanical Engineer

Responsibility

: To perform site supervision. To check and supervise contractor's work.

Review and approve Material submittals and delivery to ensure correctness, completeness and that they are in-line with the specifications.

Review and approve shop drawing submittals to ensure contractor compliance with the contract specifications.

Inspect installations and constructions and provide feedback to the Client on quality to ensure compliance of the installation with the design drawings, specification, MEW, MOC, KFD rules and regulations.

Inspect site deliveries/installed/constructed work to ensure compliance with the shop drawings, specifications and provide feedback to the Client on quality.

Issue field observation report and 'none conformance report' (NCR).

Witness testing and commissioning of Mechanical Installation in order to ensure that the systems are achieving their intended performance.

Review 'As Built' drawings and 'Operation and Maintenance Manuals' to ensure correctness, completeness and that they are in-line with the specifications.

Monitor and expedite contractor’s procurement of material and equipment. Report to Senior Superintendent for any delays and critical items.

Supervise Safety regulations & violations. And handling safety meetings at site and attending to tool box meeting with labors at site.

Actively participate in testing and commissioning procedure’s reviews for the following:

HVAC system equipment and witnessing Summer Reliability test.

Full and close monitoring of network flushing (Chilled water network, Firefighting network, Drainage and water supply network).
