: dveloppement durable et stratgie de lenvironnement

la protection de lenvironnement est devenue une proccupation et un paramtre essentiel de lactivit socio-conomique et de

lactivit diplomatique principalement dans les pays du nord. Les problmes de pollution ont amen les socits actuelles

percevoir les limites physiques du milieu dans lequel elles voluent. Chaque socit cherche maintenant avoir une vision

prospective de lexploitation des ses ressources naturelles. La restauration de la qualit de lenvironnement et la recherche de

nouveaux modes de production et de consommation, compatibles long terme avec la sauvegarde du milieu naturel, sont

devenues des objectifs incontournables.

Michel prieur : lide de dveloppement durable va dominer le rapport de la commission mondiale sur lenvironnement et le

dveloppement publi en 1987 sous le titre notre avenir tous les nations unies vingt ans aprs Stockholm vont runir

rio ( brsil) une confrence mondiale en juin 1992 sur lenvironnement et le dveloppement.

Rsum : It can be argued that a significant progress of environmental policies, aimed at

achieving sustainable development, have been accomplished in many arabic countries since

the declaration of Rio. Nevertheless these countries, including Egypt, still face many
