The Rockettes Holiday Season show is a great enhancement to your NYC Holiday Season visit! This precision dance company, founded in 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri, has performed in Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan since 1932. During the Christmas season, the Rockettes present five shows a day, seven days a week. Perhaps their best-known routine is an eye-high leg kick in perfect unison in a chorus line, which is included at the end of every performance. Their style of dance is a mixture of modern dance and classic ballet. The Radio City Christmas Spectacular is performed annually at Ra-dio City Music Hall. There are other numerous shows performed in American and Canadian cities by a touring company of Rockettes. It is one of the most-watched live shows in the United States, with over

2 million viewers per year. The Rockettes have performed annually at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade since 1957. The NBC Rockefeller Center Tree-Lighting Ceremony also traditionally includes a performance by the dance troupe. Available on all City Escapes NYC packages.

See your favorite team play the Yankees in their new stadium. Choose as a Group V inclusion, or as an optional add-on.We can procure outfield seats, upper or lower deck as well as seats along the first and third baselines, including the infield area. Of course, the least expensive seats are outfield, upper deck, but most guests like our suggestion of letting us get seats equal to the value of a Broadway show which will get you great seats in the lower deck near either first or third base. Ticket prices vary accordingly.

Major League schedules become available in the early part of the year, just before Spring Training opens in February and through March. Your travel

agent can call us to see if your favorite team will be playing in New York City. Let your agent know if you want the better seats, or the less-expensive seats and we will be pleased to include it for you, on an independent basis, or for your group or organization. Why not add on Cooperstown and visit the MLB Hall of Fame. See below for details!

Yankees Baseball

MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL HALL OF FAMENearly 300,000 people a year make the pilgrimage to Cooperstown to pay homage to the heroes of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, but in the process, many also discover an unspoiled repository of America’s heritage, rich in history, art, architecture and natural beauty. Exploring the baseball museum and the other gems of Cooperstown, like the Fenimore Art Museum, The Farmer’s Museum and the Glimmerglass Opera, it is pos-sible to find the core of America itself.

Package: Let us and your travel agent plan a stay for you in the Cooper-stown area, including these attraction admissions. Hotel packages are available including moderately-priced packages such as the nearby Best Western Inn and Red Carpet Inn (just 2 miles away), or the more upscale Bayside Inn and the Tunnucliff Inn; Tunnicliff is in downtown Cooperstown. Packages will be custom-designed for you or your group and package rates are on request.

Cooperstown

Group Idea - New York City & CooperstownA great idea for any group, including youth baseball teams. Spend a couple days in the “Greatest City in the World.” Let us set up a Yankees game; at Yankee Stadium, we can get you outfield seats, or upgraded seats on the baselines. Then we will take you by coach to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown NY, for two nights. Perfect for baseball nuts!

More Group Ideas 2015 Throughout this brochure, we have displayed some great group ideas. Here are some more ideas to get you thinking. City Escape Holidays is happy to work with your travel agent to put together any type of USA group of just about any size. We consider 12 guests to be a group; we certainly handle groups of 6, 8 10 and 11...but those guests are handled in our Independent Travel Department. Visit your travel agent with your group needs (hotel, activities, shows, sports events, etc) and we will work with them to provide a group quote, usually in two business days; it is all custom-designed, based on your specs! We have our favorite hotels, but we can package up another hotel of your choos-ing. For mini-groups (12 to 19 guests) we can provide exclusive motor coaches, but often, putting mini-groups on local daily sightseeing tours will price-out a bit lower. Rates will vary, based on hotel and season. So let us work with your travel agent to make your organization, family reunion or special-interest group trip a complete success and a trip to remember!

Football WeekendsSome cities stand out as just plain fun to visit...especially when your own team is there. Favorites are New York, New Orleans, San Francisco, San Diego, Chicago, Miami, Baltimore, Nash-ville, Philadelphia and New England. We can get game tickets anywhere in the stadium. Leave the planning to your travel agent and City Escapes to create a winning trip!

Baseball WeekendsWe already shared with you some thoughts on Yankees games, but we can also set up a program for your team’s visit to any major league ballpark around the USA. With all the great new Downtown stadiums, it is a thrill to visit as many as you can...and we can get group tickets in most any section. Hotels will generally be close to the ballpark. Play Ball!

Three Halls of FameThis Group Idea talks about the thrill of visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. We can also combine that with a visit to the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, OH. For even more fun, how about extending to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. We can provide motor coach for the entire trip. Plan it for when your NFL team plays the Browns!

Music Fests & CelebrationsEach year, we plan many group trips to Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest (April) and Essence Music Fest (July) in New Orleans and Country Music Fest in Nashville (June). It is best to plan well in advance as group tickets are best-booked nine to twelve months ahead. Another top group pick is the Cherry Blossom Parade & Festival in Washington DC (April).

Holiday Season Groups!Holiday Season Groups! Rose Parade/Rose Bowl remains our signature event; we move over 500 guests each year and part of the reason is our seats near the start of the Parade. How about the excellent Christmas Shows in Branson of the Macy’s Thanks-giving Parade in NYC where we can even add-on Parade viewing in a private function room right along the Parade route. Holidays are for groups! Twenty or more guests always get a private coach!

Rose Parade with CruiseThe Rose Parade/Rose Bowl is our signature event and our staff has been operating packages for it for a combined 64 years! It seems like every year, we get a travel agent with a group for this event, then books the group on a cruise to the Mexican Rivera. We can provide transfers from hotel to dock and also dock to airport after the cruise. See your travel agent for any size group!

Winery Visits to Napa and Sonoma ValleysThis beautiful wine region north of San Francisco produces some of the finest wine in the world. We have a variety of hotels in both valleys and can set up as many winery visits as you like, including a private lunch or dinner at select locations. The perfect program is four nights in San Francisco and three nights in the wine country!

Washington State WineriesAfter California, Washington State is the second largest wine-producing area in the USA! Programs start in Seattle. We cover all the areas and turn you on to places like Wenatchee where the wines are the “Best of the Best” at Horan Estates, Martin Scott, Chateau Faire le Pont and Bella Terrazza Wineries, just to name a few!

More Wine Trail ToursWe have already mentioned some....here are more wonderful wineries in places you would not think of: Woodinville WA, Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Ft. Collins/Boulder/Denver CO, New Mexico’s Albuquerque/Taos Corridor, Central Missouri (combine with Branson), Fresno & Temecula CA. We can add in some micro-breweries along the way, as well.

More Group IdeasA Lobsterfest in Maine highlights a Fall Foliage trip • Philadel-phia Flower Show • New Orleans to Baton Rouge through New Iberia (Tabasco) Cajun Country & Lafayette • Kentucky Derby is on everyone’s bucket list • Rose Bowl Game...the Granddady of them all • the May BBQ Fest in Memphis • pre & post cruise stays • Washington-Baltimore/Naval Academy, CMA Music Awards Show and more!

Breast Cancer is Not Just a One Month Thing! It is hard to have a friend, spouse or relative that has not been affected in some way by this relent-less disease. It hit close to home when my wife Claudia had a recurrence of breast cancer after twelve years. Because of her regular check-ups, the cancer was caught in its early stages and with excellent medical treatment, she is now cancer-free. At City Escape Holidays, we are trying do our part to remind you that, although October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, to understand the disease and to find a cure for it becomes an all year effort! Please do your part to help fight this disease. Increased awareness will lead to a cure for this and other cancerous diseases. Thanks for doing your part! Bo Adams, PresidentCity Escape Holidays

THE 127th ROSE PARADE On January 1, the world turns its attention to the Rose Parade in Pasadena, CA, for a spectacular display of magnificent floral floats, talented marching bands and high-stepping equestrian units. The Tour-nament of Roses dates back to 1890, when the Pasadena Valley Hunt Club readied their horse-drawn coaches with fresh-cut flowers from their gardens in celebration of the mild winter weather of the West. Today, the Rose Parade is an event with breathtaking floats that tout rare and exotic flowers and showcase animated technology at its finest.

AFTER-PARADE FLOAT VIEWING After every Rose Parade, the floats park along Sierra Madre and Wash-ington Boulevards in Pasadena for visitors to view in close detail the design and workmanship that goes into these floats. Visitors are able to walk almost within an arm’s reach of the floats and appreciate the crea-tivity and the imagination of the floral displays. There are also demon-strations of the animated floats. These hydraulic floats will entertain you with their funny and clever movements. Parade personnel will answer your many questions. Viewing will be from about 1 pm to 4 pm and don’t forget your camera! $50 - Adult or Child.
