LIGHT CLASSICS Those newer to classical music and seasoned classical fans alike will want to try these concerts, which feature short, familiar pieces and commentary from the stage.
CASUAL Casual Saturday concerts are performed without intermission and are followed by a party in the lobby. Mingle with musicians in a relaxed setting and enjoy live music by local bands.
AFTERWORKS Wednesday concerts at 6:30pm performed without intermission. Skip rush hour and recharge at the end of your work day. Enjoy complimentary light hors d’oeuvres before the concert, followed by 75 minutes of magnificent orchestral music.
EXPOSED The first half of these concerts takes a fascinating look at the composer, history, and story behind the music. Enjoy a full performance of the work after intermission.
POPS Entertaining concerts that include celebrated music from popular culture like Frank Sinatra hits and Broadway tunes, to your favourite theme songs from movies like Star Wars, Jaws, Indiana Jones, and more.
YOUNG PEOPLE’S CONCERTS Created especially for audience members ages 5 to 12, these fun and educational concerts can feature actors, dancers, costumes, and more!
TORONTO SYMPHONY YOUTH ORCHESTRAOne of Canada’s leading youth orchestras, the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra (TSYO) is a pre-professional training and talent-development programme for young people 22 and under. Hear Toronto’s finest young musicians in three concerts.

They share the bill on October 1 with the epic symphony that master Russian composer Prokofiev composed as the end of World War II was rapidly approaching. On October 3, Gershwin’s lively jazz-flavoured piano concerto joins Prokofiev’s epic, optimistic symphony on a rousing programme.

When should I arrive?Plan to arrive 45 minutes before the scheduled start time so you can find your seat, absorb your surroundings, and have time to glance through the programme book. When coming to a concert, please remember that traffic, parking, and weather can affect your arrival time at the hall.
In the interests of all patrons and performers, latecomers will only be seated ifand when there is a suitable break in the performance. The “late call” is a breakin the concert determined by the conductor and guest artists. Patrons who leavethe auditorium during a performance will be re-admitted at a suitable break inthe performance. Patrons in Roy Thomson Hall can hear the concert via speakersin the lobby while they are waiting to be admitted, or watch the video monitorsinstalled on each level of the hall. Call Patron Services at 416.598.3375 forupdates on late seating 48 hours prior to your concert.

The TSO offers Young People’s Concerts and a Family Christmas Concert(A Christmas Circus) especially for audience members ages 5 to 12. While children ages 2 to 5 are welcome to attend these concerts, 5 years is considered an appropriate lower age limit. Children 2 to 5 may attend these concerts with ticket purchase, at their parents’ discretion.

What should I wear?Anything that makes you feel comfortable! Most people wear dressy casualclothes, but you’ll see everything from jeans to cocktail dresses. Whateveroutfit you choose, please refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes, or otherscented products, as some patrons may be allergic and/or have multiplechemical sensitivities.
What if I need to cough?Everyone gets the urge to cough now and then, but be prepared: if you arerecovering from a cold, take some cough medicine in advance and bring unwrapped candy or lozenges with you. No matter how quiet you try to be, unwrapping candy or lozenges is always heard! Try to bury your cough in a loud passage of music. If this is impossible and you begin to cough, then it is perfectly acceptable and preferable to quietly exit the concert hall. The ushers will tell you when you are able to re-enter the concert.

Very limited underground parkingis available at Roy Thomson Hall.There are fewer than 300 parkingspaces available to patrons on a first-come, first-served basis. The TSO cannot guarantee parking for all patrons for any given concert in the Roy Thomson Hall parking garage. The parking entrance is located on Wellington Street.
Parking is also available in the MetroCentre underground parking garage, accessible through the same Wellington Street entrance. This parking has approximately 500 parking spaces. We recommend parking in the pink section of this garage, and accessing the main floor of MetroCentre [M] elevator.

How to Order Tickets
Online: TSO.CASecure internet transactions are available 24 hours a day. There is a service chargeof $6.00 per ticket (including HST) on internet orders for non-subscribers.
Mobile Device: TSO to Go appPatrons are now able to purchase and scan their Toronto Symphony Orchestra tickets on smartphones and mobile devices using the TSO to Go app.

Sales Policy: Individual concert ticket sales (non-subscription) are final. There are no refunds or cancellations. If you cannot use your tickets, then share them with family, friends, or business associates. In the case of an exchange, a fee of $8 per ticket will apply. Exchanges must be made at least 48 hours prior to the concert you hold. Free ticket exchanges are one of the many benefits available to TSO subscribers only. For more information on exchanges, visit TSO.CA/Exchanges. ALL ARTISTS, PROGRAMMES, DATES, PRICES, AND CHATS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
Please Note: Concerts taking place at Roy Thomson Hall include HST and a $3.00 CRF fee for all tickets $30.00 & up and $1.50 for all tickets $29.99 and below. Concerts taking place at the George Weston Recital Hall include HST and a $2.25 CIF fee.
Most TSO concerts take place at Roy Thomson Hall. The TSO also presents three concerts at the George Weston Recital Hall in the Toronto Centre for the Arts.
