THE ARTof HEALING Community Art Program

Providence Holy Cross presents

As a young artist, you can provide healing to those in need. Children in the San Fernando Valley are invited to submit their creations to “The Art of HEALING,” a program designed to enhance the talents of young artists while providing a healing environment to patients at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. • All art submitted will be reviewed by a selected committee and displayed publicly at a community event on April 4, 2017. • Four talented young artists will be chosen to each receive a Lakeshore Learning Gift Certificate. In addition, 16 student artists will have their creative works prominently displayed throughout Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills.

Projects are due in your school office by Friday, February 10, 2017 and MUST BE: 1) *sized at 8.5”x11”; 2) flat painting, coloring or other art on paper (no art canvas); 3) submitted with the entry form below.

** Art submission will NOT be returned and become the property of Providence Health & Services, Southern California and may be used for advertising and promotional services.

Como un artista joven, tú puedes brindar curación a aquellos que la necesitan. Se invita a los niños de San Fernando Valley a presentar sus creaciones en “El arte de la CURACIÓN”, un programa diseñado para resaltar los talentos de los artistas jóvenes y brindar al mismo tiempo un ambiente de curación a los pacientes en Providence Holy CrossMedical Center. • Todos los dibujos que se presenten serán revisados por un comité seleccionado y se exhibirán al público en un gran recepción de arte en el 4 de abril 2017. • Serán cuatro los jóvenes artistas talentosos que se escojan para recibir cada uno Lakeshore Learning certificado de regalo. Además, los trabajos creativos de 16 artistas estudiantes se expondrán de manera prominente por todas las instalaciones de Providence Holy Cross Medical Center en Mission Hills.

Los proyectos deberán entregarse en la oficina de tu escuela a más tardar el viernes 10 de febrero 2017 y las bases son: 1) *medidas 8.5”x11”; 2) superficie plana (pintura, coloreado u otro dibujo solamente); 3) presentarlo con el formulario de registro que aparece a continuación.* * Los dibujos que se presenten pasan a ser propiedad de Providence Health & Services, Southern California y podrán usarse en materiales promocionales.
