VISA INFORMATION

www.arizonacup.com/2015

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING U.S. VISAs

Application for and obtaini ng travel visas to the United States are completely and solely the responsibility of the participant.

A visa will b e required of all visitors to e nter the United States with the exception of Canada and the 38 nations that are part of the “Visa Waiver Programme”. The process for obtaining a visa requires each individual to submit an application thr ough a U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate. This is a p rocess that MUST be d one by the applicant – the organising committee cannot do it for you! The information contained in this do cument was cu rrent at the t ime of di stribution. Fo r updated information regarding visa requirements when traveling to the United States of America, please refer to following websites: ESTA – The Official U.S. Government Website: https://www.esta-america.org U.S. Dept. of State: http://www.travel.state.gov Locate an Embassy: http://www.usembassy.gov VISA WAIVER PROGRAMME COUNTRIES

Andorra France Liechtenstein San Marino Australia Germany Lithuania Singapore Austria Greece Luxembourg Slovakia Belgium Hungary Malta Slovenia Brunei Iceland Monaco South Korea Chile Ireland Netherlands Spain Czech Republic Italy New Zealand Sweden Denmark Japan Norway Switzerland Estonia Latvia Portugal Taiwan Finland United Kingdom

NOTE: IF YOUR COUNTRY IS LI STED AS A “VISA WAIVER PROGRAMME” COUNTRY, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLE TE THE ON-LINE ESTA APPLICATION AT https://www.esta-america.org/ IT IS IMPORTANT TO REVIEW THE ELI GIBILITY AND P ASSPORT REQUIREMENTS TO ENSURE YOU MEE T ALL THE CRITERIA BEFORE MAKING YOUR TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS. Most categories of visas may be issued to an applic ant up to 60 days before its effective date. HOWEVER, i t cannot be e mphasised enough that the letter of invitati on and application process should start as early as possible. Participants from countries subject to additional clearances should be especially conscientious about applying early, since the State Department will not guarantee that ANY cases will be expedited.

Letter of Invitation – For those countries not listed above on the VISA waiver programme, the OC can issue you a Letter of Invitation to use in your application process, upon request. Full names, Birthday, passport number are required. At time of travel, passports should have at least 6 months before expiration.

How long should you expect the process to take? There is no standard timeframe for how long it takes to get an appointment for a visa interview and it can vary dramatically.

It cannot be emphasized enough to start the application process early. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND – We cannot guarantee you will receive a VISA and we cannot provide special clearances, if you are denied or apply too late.
