do not merely meet the needs of the moment, but they dedicate themselves to others with heartfelt
concern, enabling them to experience the richness of their humanity. Consequently, in addition to
their necessary professional training, these charity workers need a formation of the heart.

What is The OGrady Institute?
Te OGrady Institute provides a continuum of formation opportunities for diocesan
directors of Catholic Charities agencies. Trough advanced study and reflection on
Scripture, history and theology, diocesan directors are provided an array of opportuni-
ties to form their hearts and strengthen their dedication to help Christ-in-need experi-
ence the richness of their humanity.
FreiburgRome Campus
Tis two week institute is held in Freiburg, Germany and Rome,
Italy. Te first week is held in the beautiful Black Forest of Ger-
many, where participants attend daily seminars in theology,
Scripture, ethics, and Church history led by the world renowned
theology faculty at the University of Freiburg, Germany. Te
second week is held in Rome where participants meet with Cari-
tas (Catholic Charities) agencies and Vatican offices. Tey visit
important historical churches and sites as a way to delve deeper
into the history of the nascent Church. Experiential learning is
an essential component of this Institute. Registration is limited
and participants are required to submit pre-and post-reflection
papers.
Cost:$1500 per person (airfare not included)
Te next Freiburg-Rome Campus Institute is scheduled for May
30 - June 13, 2015.
