Client/End User calls or emails helpdesk with a communication and

network issue.

Helpdesk specialist takes information and opens a ticket. An email

acknowledgment is sent to requestor.

Engineer/Technician Troubleshoots

problem via phone or using remote access.

If problem is not resolved over the

phone or via remote access, a site visit may be required

Ticket is updated with resolution and

an electronic notification is sent

to end user

FTSI established and dedicated Help Desk for projects. The Help Desk Hours of operation will be from 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM, on weekdays . FTSI PROJECT REFERENCES

Project Reference: Camp PendletonCourt House Media Center and Family Viewing Room

FTSI implemented High Definition audio and video capabilities with touch screen controls for the judge’s bench and chambers with cameras for the courtroom. Those signals, which are controlled by the judge, were converted to a digital signal and piped over a 1 GIG wireless bridge to the Media Center. At the Media Center, the signals were converted back to an AV signal that was then distributed to High Definition plasma screens and audio system.

Project Reference: Camp PendletonAlarmed PDS for Area 41

FTSI performed this Design/Build project for the Mountain and Warfare Division in Area 41 for SIPRNET deployment. FTSI designed and engineered a Protected Distribution System (PSD) in buildings 410306 and 41253 for a total of (39) SIPRNET seats. FTSI then alarmed the conduit system with sense fiber and set up a headed to monitor the system. This monitoring system was designed to prevent the Marines Corps from having to conduct daily network inspections of each building.

Project Reference: Camp PendletonFiber and Copper Backbone work for Buildings 13129 and 13128

FTSI installed (4) 100-pair OSP cable and (12) 12-strand SM fiber optic cable from existing manhole to new IDF’s in buildings 13129 and 13128. FTSI spliced copper cables into existing 2400-pair cable in manhole and fusion spliced new fiber into existing 96-strand fiber in manhole. Copper cable was terminated into protection blocks in building IDF;s. Fiber cables was field terminated using ST connectors in buildings IDF’s. FTSI tested copper cables between buildings IDF’s and cable hut. FTSI performed OTDR bi-directionally test on fiber between building IDF’s and cable hut.
