With this new release, I trust that you will find enjoyable material from which to choose for the Lent and Easter season. Along with many hymn-based handbell settings, you will find original composi-tions by Cynthia Dobrinski, Susan Geschke, and one of our newest composers, Patrick Meyer.

Some of the highlights not to be missed include several Easter selec-tions including “Crown Him with Many Crowns” (Raney/Sherman), “Thine Is the Glory” (Raney), “Glorious Celebration” (Dobrinski), “Hymn of Promise” (Linker & McFadden), and “Now the Green Blade Riseth” (McChesney). Two of these include piano with hand-bells ~ be sure to check them out!

With a dynamic setting of “If Thou But Suffer God to Guide Thee” we welcome Matthew Compton to the Agape catalog. Other general hymn settings include “Won-drous Love” (Raney/Sherman), “I Want Jesus to Walk with Me” (Waldrop), “O the Deep, Deep Love of Jesus” (Lamb) and the energy-filled “Contemplation & Dance on ‘Kingsfold’” (Morris).

The antiphonal theme returns and leads into “Amazing Grace” with chimes on the melody.
