Michigan Merit Exam (MME) Requirement - Holt Public Schools Board Policy A6056

Holt Public Schools students must complete all components of the Michigan Merit Exam (MME) during their 11th grade year. In the event that a student does not take the MME or took the exam and did not receive valid scores, the student is required to retake the entire MME (reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies) in their senior year, unless excused by the High School Administration.

try to add it to your electives. You may also look at MVHS If you are a transfer student and are taking courses in a

FAQ-

• Will we be permitted to request our classes? Electives only. We will automatically select your core classes and add them to the request list. With the exception of application courses (Honors/AP/Web Pub etc.)

• What if I failed a class? If you failed a class, you can add it to your list of

requested courses. You may also take classes in summer school, night school or virtual H.S.

• What if I don’t get a teacher that I want? As usual, you can not request teacher switches. At this time because we are not doing online scheduling, the computer will pick your teacher. You will be required to have that teacher for that course.

• Will there be a drop and add period? There will be no drop and add period. The only schedule adjustments that will be permitted are: missing hours, missing grad requirement, duplicate courses.
