The Mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley is to promote the growth of

young people in our community by empowering them to become productive, caring,

responsible citizens.

The Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley has been serving children in the Maynard,

Stow, Concord, Acton and Sudbury area for over 40 years. Since 1971, we have been

providing a safe place for young people to develop their educational, social, recre-

ational and cultural abilities. The Club has adapted its programs to meet the ever-

changing needs of the children, teenagers, and families in its community. We annu-

ally serve over 1,800 young people across our communities. The Club is the only full

time youth organization in the area and has actively sought to enrich the lives of girls

and boys whom other youth agencies fail to reach. We are proud to keep our annual

membership fee to a low $40 per child with no child ever being turned away because

of their inability to pay.
