• Main tasks of Public Transport Authorithy in Warsaw (ZTM): Planning, organizing and coordination of public transport (network,

timetable, etc.) in Warsaw and metropolitan area; Ordering Public Transport (PT) services from operators (bus, tram,

metro, railway); Supervision over current PT functioning; Selling tickets and collecting fares, ticket controlling; Investments in PT development projects and transport infrastructure; Ordering and taking part in studies projects concerning development of

PT; Collecting data and providing analyses according to the demand of PT

services; Infrastructure maintance (bus and tram stops, P+R)

SignUM and ePUAP•ePUAP - Electronic Platform of Public Administration Services (ePUAP)

– a coherent and systematic action program designed and developed to allow public institutions make their electronic services available to the public

-the concept of an integrated mobile application with microlocation system, to facilitate movement within the building, as well as throughout the city,-mobile project based on a system of beacons located in different places with information stored about room numbers, bulletin boards, number of PT line etc.-Other options:

Apps4Warsaw (Dane po warszawsku)-more than a competition for the best city apps built upon City of Warsaw publically available open data;-to promote open data and engage peaple in creating civis technology tools for their city.

1. stage (04.2014 – 02.2015): •selection of over 50 date sets to be open;•building a unique technical environment where data is stored and published

2. stage (03-06.2015):•open data contest•app contest:

– 50 data sets,– informal meet-ups and workshops,– 71 submitted projects,– nearly 2500 votes in public voting,– 20 finalists,– 1 hackaton,– 4 winners

Apps4Warsaw•Contest winner:

– Warsaws.ninja (warszawski.ninja) - app allows you to keep track of Warsaw reports about problems on the routes. Users create new reports and to confirm or deny the existing one. By crowdsourcing Warsaws.ninja (warszawski.ninja) becomes always current collection of the latest information about public transport

•Audience award:– Roller Warsaw map - driving comfort facilitating the desired location on the best possible

way. The application is based on Google Maps where every street is determined by the color depending on the quality of the surface on which we are going. On the map there is a possibility to select visibility of all skateparks and places for safe skating in Warsaw.
