HOME KITS & BRACKETSUS BANNER FLAGThis popular flag for home use is made of durable Patriot Nylon material featuringembroidered stars, sewn stripes and a pole sleevewith leather tabs.

These poles are available in either a white, brushed aluminum or woodgrain finish. The top forty inches of the pole rotates on ball bearings, so the flag will always hang free. There is no need for an unfurling tube.

Each pole is supplied with a ball top, two flag fasteners for flying a traditional flag with grommets and also a snap and swivel ring for displaying banner type flags with pole sleeves. All models fit one-inch brackets.

FLAGPOLESConder Flag flagpole shafts are manufactured in the US from seamless 6063-T6 aluminum with tensile strength not less than 30,000psi and a yield point of 25,000psi. Shafts in excess of 35’ exposed height are shipped as multiple piece units, then field-assembled with a self aligning internal sleeve assembly. All flagpoles are polished to a Deep Luster Finish. Other available architectural finishes are powdercoat, clear anodized, Duranodic bronze and black anodized. Conder Flag flagpoles are produced for the popular ground mount method. The overall shaft length includes the exposed height measurements plus an additional 10% that fits into a ground sleeve assembly. Additional mounting methods including shoebase mounts are also available.

These tapered flagpoles have been manufactured to meet architectural standards for quality strength and finish. Manufactured from high strength aluminum tubing, the flagpoles will enhance the landscape of any commercial property. Internal halyard flagpoles provide an excellent solution to vandalism. These flagpoles contain a stainless steel winch inside the shaft, operable only with a removable crank handle. Other included fittings are a cast aluminum cone style revolving truck assembly, zinc plated snaphooks, spun aluminum flash collar, foundation sleeve assembly and installation instructions. ALPHA SECTIONAL SERIESThis lightweight, sectional, non tapered flagpole is a popular inexpensive choice for the home or apartment landscape. The shaft sections are manufactured from strong 6063TS seamless aluminum tubing to provide a long lasting, rust-free beautiful appearance. The swedged top of each section fits into the bottom of the section above it to provide a strong, water repellent joint and an attractive, straight assembly. Standard fittings include a gold anodized aluminum ball, cast aluminum single stationary truck assembly, braided nylon rope, nylon snaphooks, cleat and pvc sleeve.

WHITE GIANT SECTION STEEL SERIESThese flagpoles offer exceptional quality at an economical price. The flagpole tubing sections are heavy-duty 19 gauge first run quality steel. The inside length of the flagpole is galvanized to deter rusting while the outside is beautifully finished with a white polyester powder coated painted finish. The tubing sections swedge together to provide a smooth exterior finish. All of these flagpoles come complete with a gold vinyl ball ornament, pulley assembly, rope, cleat, nylon snaphooks, pvc foundation tube, and installation instructions.

TOP FLIGHT TELESCOPING ALUMINUMIdeal for home or business, these poles are easy to install and use. No ropes or hardware are necessary because 360-degree rotating collars hold up to two flags at once. A gold anodized ball, pvc ground sleeve and US nylon flag are included with this flagpole. APPLIQUE FLAGSTalented employees hand-craft each flag with care and attention. We can sew virtually any logo on any size or shape background. The standard construction for flags, pennants and burgees is single reverse; words read correctly on front and reverse on back. Double sided flags read correctly on both sides and require two flags sewn back to back. All logos, emblems and special designs are individually quoted.

ARTWORK GUIDELINES

To make your project flow smoothly, our graphics team will work with you as you submit your art for printing. We prefer that you submit your own high resolution vector art files to insure the quality of the final product. We will be happy to review your art or images in advance to make sure that they will enlarge with suitable resolution. If needed, our creative team may assist you in recreating your artwork at an artwork extra charge. You will be provided with proofs for review and approval on every job. Conder Flag strives to make this process as easy for you as possible. Please follow the guidelines below for your art submittals.

Acceptable vector file formats (in order of preference) .ai .pdf .eps

For all vector artwork: 4 Make sure that any fonts in your artwork have been converted to outlines. 4 If your artwork includes bitmap images, make sure that they are linked, not embedded, and be sure to send us the linked bitmap file along with the vector file. 4 For vector artwork we highly recommend using Pantone colors where possible. With CMYK or RGB swatches we cannot guarantee a color match.

Acceptable raster/bitmap file formats (in order of preference) .tif (LZW compressed, layers flattened) .jpg (saved at maximum quality) .psd (version CS5.5, layers flattened)

Artwork Guidelines

FLAG ETIQUETTE GENERAL DISPLAYIt is the universal custom to display the flag only from sunrise to sunset on buildings and on stationary flagstaffs in the open. However, when a patriotic effect is desired, the flag may be displayed twenty-four hours a day if properly illuminated during the hours of darkness.

1.) When displayed either horizontally or vertically against a wall, the union should be uppermost and to the flag’s own right, that is, to the observer’s left. When displayed in a window, the flag should be displayed in the same way, with the union or blue field to the left of the observer in the street.

No other flag or pennant should be placed above, or, if on the same level, to the right of the flag of the United States of America, except during church services conducted by naval chaplains at sea…for personnel of the Navy…when the church pennant may be flown above the flag.

No person shall display the flag of the United Nations or any other national or international flag equal, above, or in a position of superior prominence or honor to, or in place of, the flag of the United States at any place within the United States or any Territory or possession thereof; Provided, that nothing in this section shall make unlawful the continuance of the practice heretofore followed of displaying the flag of the United Nations in a position of superior prominence or honor, and other national flags in positions of equal prominence or honor, with that of the flag of the United States at the headquarters of the United Nations.

2.) When flags of States, cities, or localities, or pennants of societies are flown on the same halyard with the flag of the United States, the latter should always be at the peak.

3.) When the flags are flown from adjacent staffs, the flag of the United States should be hoisted first and lowered last. No such flag or pennant may be placed above the flag of the United States or to the United States flag’s right.

4.) The flag of the United States of America, when it is displayed with another flag against a wall from crossed staffs, should be on the right, the flag’s own right, and its staff should be in front of the staff of the other flag.

5.) The flag of the United States of America should be at the center and at the highest point of the group when a number of flags of States or localities or pennants of societies are grouped and displayed from staffs.

6.) When flags of two or more nations are displayed, they are to be flown from separate staffs of the same height. The flags should be of approximately equal size. International usage forbids the display of the flag of one nation above that of another nation in time of peace.

CHURCHES & AUDITORIUMS

7.) When used on a speaker’s platform, the flag, if displayed flat, should be displayed above and behind the speaker. When displayed from a staff in a church or public auditorium, the flag of the United States of America should hold the position of superior prominence, in advance of the audience, and in the posi-tion of honor at the clergyman’s or speaker’s right as he faces the audience. Any other flag so displayed should be placed on the left of the clergyman or speaker or the right of the audience.

HALF-STAFFThe flag, when flown at half-staff, should be first hoisted to the peak for an instant and then lowered to the half-staff position. The flag should be again raised to the peak before it is lowered for the day. On Memorial Day, the flag should be displayed at half-staff until noon only, then raised to the top of the staff. By order of the President, the flag shall be flown at half-staff upon the death of principal figures of the United States Government and the Governor of the State, territory or possession, as a mark of respect to their memory. In the event of the death of other officials or foreign dignitaries, the flag is to be displayed at half-staff according to Presidential instructions or orders, or in accordance with recognized customs or practices not inconsistent with law.

In the event of the death of a present or former official of the government of any State, territory or possession of the United States, the Governor of that State, territory or possession may proclaim that the National flag shall be flown at half-staff.
