Coiner Cross Country Racing Report

Jeremy Coiner - Conditions: PERFECT!

Course: Rocky, Technical but it flowed

well.

Coiner Racing headed to the out skirts of

NV to the small town of Caliente to

contest Round 5 of the AMA West

National Hare Scrambles. The course

was a 15 mile loop that consisted of sand

whoops, deep sand sections, tight single

track, a couple technical down hills,

some water crossings and even a small

grass MX track. Other than Clear Creek,

at Rnd 2, I thought this was the best

course we rode all year.

Continued

Jeremy lined up with 121 other AA/A/B

racers for the final race of the day which

started almost an hour late. Jeremy's

Mach1/SRT/SixFive0 backed KTM 300

was fresh and ready to go! When the

green flag dropped for the B Line,

Jeremy landed another hole shot and

lead the field around the Motorcross

track and out into the back country.

After lap 1 he was still leading the B

Open class and running 3 O/A in the

entire B class.

Lap 3 he came in for some fresh 100%

goggles, and gas. He was filled and

gone in less than 15 seconds thanks to

our IMS Quick Dump system. At this

time less than 2 minutes separated 1st -

3rd in the B Class. It was fun watch them

race.

At the conclusion of the race, Jeremy ended up 1st in the B Open Class, 3rd Overall in the B Class, and

45th O/A in the entire race. I couldn't be more proud of him. He pushed hard the entire race and got

some good results for doing so.

Due to some circumstances beyond our control we're going to miss the Idaho City Qualifier next

weekend. We love that race, but there is always next year. So our next stop will be Round 6 of the

AMA West National Hare Scrambles in Elkton OR.

Thank you all for supporting us in the sport we love so much.

Thank you to Don Amador for helping out with our event.

It was great up working the Fools Gold Enduro this last weekend. Great event and great trail system. The Mace Mill OHV Area on the Eldorado NF rocks. Great FS trail staff too!
