Your Wine Tour Guide Russ became passionate about wine after his first visit to San Francisco in 1994. His many trips to Sonoma and Napa Counties have enabled him to develop tours with a continued learning basis about the grapes, the wines, and the wine making process used in the region. His vision is to extend to his guests the opportunity to visit small family owned wineries where grapes have been grown and wine has been made for generations. If tasting wine with wine makers, personal winery tours, viticulture, wine and food pairings and enjoying the outdoors are what you're looking for, then welcome to beautiful Northern California.

Our journey begins once we cross San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge and continue north on Highway 101, into Sonoma County. We arrive at the Hilton Sonoma Wine Country Hotel, check in and enjoy a Welcome Wine & Cheese Reception. Here, we will spend our next six nights. This is California's Wine Country at its best.

During the day, we tour exceptional wineries and taste great wines. We go behind the scenes, places reserved for special guests, and learn from the best wine makers anywhere. For lunch, we picnic in the beautiful settings of four wineries where we are treated to fresh local fare and fine wines. During the evenings, we dine at five of the area's great restaurants.

On Saturday morning, we bid farewell and board the plane for our return flight home.
