Meet the speakers:

Elizabeth H. Sinz, MD Dr. Lisa Sinz is Professor of Anesthesiology, Critical Care Medicine, and Neurosurgery and serves as the Associate Dean for Clinical Simulation at the Penn State University College of Medicine. She is a founder and past-President of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and serves as an Associate Editor for their academic journal, Simulation in Healthcare. As a Science Editor for the American Heart Association, she helped develop the educational materials for ACLS and ACLS-EP based on the 2010 Guidelines, and she is now serving as the Simulation Science Editor for the 2015 Guideline updates.

Robert WalesRobert Wales is a paramedic registered with the National Registry of EMTs and has been the International Program Development Manager for the American Heart Association (AHA) since 2010. In his role at the AHA, he manages the quality of training and development of the AHA’s International Emergency Cardiovascular Care programs and consults on the development of the AHA’s training materials. Prior to working for the AHA, Mr. Wales was the Training Officer and a Critical Care Paramedic for Pickens County EMS in South Carolina. He has spoken at conferences around the world and has consulted on publications for critical care transport, mass casualty management, and emergency medical care. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for EMS (CECBEMS), helping to advance quality continuing education for prehospital providers and promote the EMS profession.
